Best to have them rebuilt. New seals, oil, and nitrogen.
What he said..but im sure you can find a reputable suspension place to rebuild them. Shop around.

x2... powdercoat would be better than paint. might be more costly, but looks better and will hold up a whole hell of a lot longer

Then: H-A-R-D-W-O-R-K 8+1+18+4+23+15+18+11 = 98%

Agreed. Porting the jugs you have could wind up costing more in the long run (new cyls + new porting = $$$). But who knows, you could run the ported top end for years. Also, Wiseco pistons.

Are your filters by any chance over-oiled? This may sound dumb, but check. I barely oil mine. VERY light coat.
Not sure why this would effect it stalling when coming to a stop, but could be affecting your air flow.
