I think welding the bottom of the carrier housing for the bar mounts made that part flat. That's why the 40mm carrier is scratched.

I was about 235 when I ran 6.7 @ 98mph on my 4mill cub on alky. That was with a 1-6 override, 17-39 gearing and no wheelie bar. My buddies 10 mill cub was alot faster than that. We are at sea level

I just got a 14mm DM with a 2-5 override trans with a billet 2nd gear. Can I use that transmission for 1/8 mile asphalt? I really don't want to take the motor apart
