Ditto. If its an '88 or '89 250R, and the dude knows how to ride it, your really in trouble. Chassis is 25 lbs lighter on those years and tranny gearing is different. I would ditch that pipe set up you got...thing is ugly and not working. Can't believe somebody would tell you to run that. First mods guys do on V8 motors is make it a true dual exhaust. 250R's can be made fast, but like others have referenced already, banshee will respond better to most any mod. I have run local drag streets in the Northwest...have ran my fair share of 10-14 cubs. Fastest I have seen was Jamie's 14 mil A&S and he is a midget as a jockey.. My single has taken down quite a few cubs

Ditto, it hardly ever gets "cold", even in the dead of winter its not uncommon to see low 50's for high's. Rain sucks, and that's your biggest issue, cause I agree with whats been posted, when it rains, it usually pours, and you cant see shit! Last Thanksgiving wkend, we had weather in the low 70's at Winchester Bay which is very unusual. Those of you wanting to put a BHQ ride together, I would say look hard at the Raptor Rally which is next May...that is a wicked event. You'll shit how many fast Raptors are out there.

Dunner250, there are quite a few R guys meeting at Winchester Bay over thanksgiving wkend. Get some free time, come down for a couple days, there are some wicked Honda's going to show up. Bring your 'Shee as well.

I have been to Florence close to 15 trips this yr, have not heard of one single issue or seen anything. In fact, they Poll Lease have rolled up on us while we were racing, watched and continued on their own business. Was there on labor day as well, not a single issue with them. Windy Bay is more watched lately due to on site police 24/7.

I would think twice about going to Sand Lake to drag race. If you venture over there on a wkend, your just asking for a speed racing ticket. The Poll Lease are out in force there looking to write tickets. Spend the extra two hours and drive down to Florence. Much better racing, and the cops are much much better. If you wanna really compare, come down to Winchester Bay for Thanksgiving wkend. There will be plenty to compare your bike with there. I'll be there Friday am thru the wkend

Your right, good point. However, racing there is not what it used to be, most of the bigger bikes go to the flats at Hauser or even another place but I wont mention it just in case the Poll Lease are watching..
