Hi I'm new to the banshee scene, Mine's doing the same thing on the left side. Was riding it all day with my buddies and towards the end of the day realized there was kind of a dead spot when I started to give it gas while riding the trails. Once you got past the dead spot it would rev fine. The next weekend went to ride it and it will idle with the choke on(which tends to close by itself?? are there rebuilds for the choke)..as soon as you turn off the choke and tap the throttle it snorts like a pig then will die if you tap it a couple times...if you give it a lot of throttle it kinda makes a puffing sound and back fires. I sprayed carb cleaner around intake...head gaskets....nothing happens. I cleaned the carb too. Still doing it.

I just spilt my cases to remove the clutch pushrod because it mushroomed like crazy. What kind of sealant can I pick up at AutoZone when I put it back together tonight? Any tips on amount of sealant or where NOT to put it. I tried searching the forum, but couldn't find anything.........maybe I'll try liquid gasket..... Thanks,

Should I be able to remove the clutch ball bearing with a magnet once I get all the clutch parts off? I was having Issues with my clutch staying engaged. I had the cable all the way adjsuted so removed the cover to do the internal adjustment and noticed the guy that I got the banshee from busted one of the spring bolt holes and left another spring off. While i was in there I was going to instpect ALL the clutch parts since this guy seemed to engage in some shady wrenching. Thanks fellers.
