Hello, I was wondering what the best K&N setup was. Direct bolt on (eliminates air box)2 into one or 2 separate filters, in air box filter, in air box filter with holes cut for more flow, or the Powerlid(replaces air box top)? Thank you

That's what I was thinking but had to ask, too bad too because I have so many jets. I was thinking of the YA-3502 in air box filter. Would FMF recomendations work for the DMC 916 or just FMF? Thank you.

A friend of mine had a very similar problem, his slide was getting stuck too far up & when you hit the throttle it would just bog. Looking at the exhaust it looked like one cylinder was functioning but that other not so much. To see if this is your problem, take your airbox/filters off & see if one of your slides is sticking up. When we got into it we thought there might be clogged jets because it sat with gas in it, when mixed gas sits the oil & gas react & the oil turns into gunk.
