  1. i have +4 timing on my quad. in town i only can get 91 octane. when im on the trails i can get 93. is it bad to run 91 with the timing advanced? i have a cool head with 22cc domes too. is it safe to run 91 now and then?

  4. i have a twist grip throttle in great shape. new in the winter. chrome. All my riding is done on trails, woods, and farms. the twist throttle jsut does not work for me. It is really smooth and is a great way not to get arm pump on long rides. I am just looking to trade for a thumb throttle. PM if you are intereseted.
  5. yeah, kinda gay. just like the can-am spyders. they had something like this for the ATC250r's it was called a missle kit. basically it turned the three wheeler into a fat dirtbike. why not just get a rz350???
  6. i had no idea what this hooka stuff was till a friend in college asked if i wanted to go do it. its actually pretty sweet. some really good flavors out there. this is a sweet hooka and if it comes with coals and alot of tobacco this is a good deal. id buy it myself if i didnt have a banshee to worry about.

  9. im getting around 10-12 mpg. i have nothing to compare it to. it does it all of the time. we scanned it with the computer thing, and it doesnt say that the 02 sensors are bad. however. there is one on the Cat. and the cat converter on mine is hollowed out. would that mess it up?
  10. sorry if i forgot this at the begining. it runs perfect until the engine warms up above about 130 degrees. then this problem starts. when i cold start it, it is fine.
  11. i had a new air filter put in when i bought it. and the batter was replaced less than 6 months ago.
  12. the tri-country trail in south central/western wisconsin. goes from belmont, mineral point, fayette, blanchardville, wiota, darlington, grait, browntown, monroe, boscebel. the large majority of the trail is old railroad bed. its flat. and straight. the best spot to ride would be between darlington and fayette. that is for trails. for real good riding just get some friends together and go riding on properties or farms. some of the best riding ive had have been in woods and pastures. where exactly are you?
  13. i just did this same exact thing yesterday. but with different graphics. i really love how they look like they are stamped into the plastic. I wish i had waited a day to see this post and then done it. nice work.
  14. i used a spray on bed liner in a can(black). they sell it at farm and fleet
  15. pull out the plugs, tie it to another 4wheeler and haul it around in gear. it should unflood the cylinders.
  16. i was riding today and out of nowhere when i shifted it felt as though i was "speed shifting"...becasue i was. the clutch was not working. the rest of the ride was dumb. i didnt want to ruin all my friends day so i just rode it with out a clutch all day and had to run and put it in gear while moving to get it going every time i stoped. I am unfamiliar with the how the clutch and transmissions work on atvs. under the left carburetor there is a rod that goes into the engine that twists when the lever is pulled. this rod somehow worked its way up and was not down in the engine where it was supposed to be. it looks like it was beaten up a big (dis formed). Is this a major problem? can i buy a new part (whatever this thing is)? do i just drop it in or do i have to tear apart the whole engine? I realize i may not be describing it the best but i am doing my best to let you know whats going on. I will try to get pictures soon to let you see whats really going on. I could ride it with out a clutch the way it is. but i really do not like the whole "speed shifting" idea. plus a clutch would help alot with stoping and taking off witch would be nice for woods riding. thankyou.

  18. ive had a 1994 dodge ram short box reg cab for over a year now. it is a automatic trans. with 4x4. the engine is a 5.9 or 360ci. its fuel injected. the truck itself has 228k miles on it. but in surprisingly good shape. the transmission was replaced at 130k. when i bought the truck it had the problem....we put a new fuel pump in it ( it was going out) and we hoped this would solve it...but it didnt and i have been living with it for a year. the problem: when i let off of the gas the rpm's dive down very low, and sometimes dies. i discovered when i rev the gas quick it goes back to idle smooth. at highway speeds the problem is not noticeable because you're going fast the engine doesn't go back to idle. i can live with it just having to rev it when going really slow. but for parallel parking i always think im going to hit a car. and due to the fact i have duel cherry bomb exhaust i look like a douche bag revving my engine every time i go slow in town (tight traffic). what could be casuing the rpms to drop like that? but not do it when i let of the trottle fast. any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks

  20. a stage 5 port from yamaha.....the turbos are built in.....this thing sounds intense!!! i wonder if he has a rebuilt powerband in that thing.

  22. great work. if i had that id be afraid to go riding, id hate to get it dirty. How much were the cans of bed liner?? how many cans did you use? i have a second set of plastics id like to use for when i got woods riding and i think that bed liner is a great idea.
