  1. maybe ill just stick with the bore and plane the head a bit riding season is here and i dont want to wait anymore. im used to riding a 400z so i think ill live without the port till next year.
  2. im just not sure it the guy eaven knows the technical stuff that u guys are always talkin about. the guy that answers the phone for him says he done them and it really wakes them up. could i end up with a port that im not happy with
  3. also whats the diff between port jobs. if he doesnt know the diff between dun and drag and trail and the other stuff ive read about and just ports it will i be dissapointed?
  4. im getting him to do it but if hes gonna be at it for 3 weeks and it should only take 1 im going to shop around.
  5. how long should it take to port my cylinders? i have a shop here so i wont have to worry about shipping time.
  6. im listening fellas. well to some just not the ones who think its my driving. the parts are on the way its getting .020 bore and wiseco pro lites and while im there i may get the head shaved down some. while i was ordering the pistons i figured why not get a stator plate.
  7. if i advance my timing and plane my head down and get a port job will that create a cooling issue? im thinkin if i have it apart now i should do what i am planning all at once so i dont have to tear it down again next year. having too much power is not a problem with me i would rather have too much that not enough and just get bored of it.
  8. it came with 22 inch bear claws and 20 inch paddles. the bear claws are way to big so i just put the paddles on cus most of the trails i ride in are sand. i got pistons and a timing plate on the way and when i take my cylinders in im takin the head too and gettin .030 taken off. i hope that smartens it up. my buddy has a 700 raptor i would like to beat. i am gettein some new tires too gonna go with some razors or holeshots.
  9. while i have it apart i was thinking of milling my head and getting a adj timing plate and set it at +4 will this help much and can i still run pump gas? im 2000 above sea level

  14. just wondering if someone could tell me how to replace the reeds in my v-force 3's pics if possible.
  15. got it tore down now just shopping around for some pistons. any tips on what to look for while im doing the rebuild? ive been readin and it seems wiseco pistons are the way to go. any particular gaskets to go with? maybe something thinner?
  16. i have rode 2 strokes before and i am not afraid to let it scream. and the 400 is mine i baught it new and ive ran the shit out of it since day 1 so it didnt gain power. all it has is a pipe frome a rmz250 cut and adapted to fit and i threw a lil bigger main in it. we eaven tried a top speed race and he still just kept pullin away and the shee wouldnt rev any higher. i checked the compression today and its got 90 in one and 100 in the other. im thinkin thats low am i right?
  17. what cool head should i go with? im thinkin of 20 cc domes can i do that on pump gas? im at 2000ft.

  19. im not questioning my riding ability i know i can ride well enough to beat the 400. eaven if i was a shitty rider i should be able to catch up once i hit 6th but he just kept pullin away. ill have a look at the clutch today but doesnt feel like its slipping. should i be running a 280 or a 300 main? im thinkin a 260 is too small. would running lean make that much difference?
  20. if i said i was running paddles and the z had razor 2s would that change anything. ill get get a hard time for this but it was on dirt once and on pavement a couple times.
  21. maybe its top end im lacking. but it sounds smooth. idk when u look at my mods does everything look right is my jetting right im 2000 feet and 15 to 25 c.
  22. ok i get that u gotta stay on the throttle but when we raced we tried from a dead stop and no win. then we were rolling along eaven and both gave er at the same time and he just pulled away. i hit it and shifted as fast as i could it was screaming i dont car who is riding it there is something that isnt right. im not the best rider but im not bad enough to be beat by a 400z. i should be able to play with it shouldnt i? i held it to the bar and it wasnt gonna rev anymore and he was pullin away quick. imo there should be no competition.
  23. its been years since ive been on a 2 stroke im not sure if its normal or not. i gotta rev it a bit before i take off but once it its rollin it seems to work good. it just doesnt have as much as my 400 i know this is not normal. and if im climbing a hill and let off too much it will die and i have to pull the clutch and get the revs back up and it will go again. i would think there would be no way to lose power with one of these in second. it seems to run smooth but tops out real quick.
