The tires' markings matched exactly. RM is sending a refund but would either pay for restocking or my mounting dis-mounting charges, not both. I am going to try to find some tires locally, while it is not 110F outside yet.

I just took delivery of my RAZR tires from RMATV. I had them mounted and the tire guys and I noticed that w/ the equal amounts of air the tires were shaped different. One was bowed out like it was over inflated the other was flat like normal. Also the bubbled out one measured 1.2 inches taller. Anyone ever have this happen? They remounted them several times, but no fix. They are on there way back to RMATV already. Replacements are backordered til July. This sucks...

Seems like I read somewhere that the Baja racers were set up using 22 rears and 23 fronts?? No one on this board is set up like that?? No one running Holeshot XCTs? 22x11x9?

I ride in the desert (AZ), but many of the trails between washes are lined w/ immovable rocks sticking up and clanking the bottom of my banshee. I do have skidplates, but I am in neeed of need of new tires and am contemplating taller tiers front and rear. I would like to see some pics and here some opinions. Also, what are the affects on power/speed? I am bone stock! Also, I came off of riding a Raptor, and I miss getting the front wheels off the dirt, so I would like a taller tire that grips... Pics for clicks...

I see all these different oils and see many different ratios, how do you know you are doing what is best for your motor? Everyone has an opinion, but what are the signs if you are using too much oil, or not enough? I am 2004 stock, using Maxima semi-synthetic @ 32 to 1. Bottle says 20<>50 to 1 is okay... 40 to 1 would let me dump 1 small bottle into 5 gals of gas.

I'd love to have my shock resprung, what companies do this? Got links? Who sells just heavier capacity springs?

I do strap the banshee in, more worried about the other crap my family seems to think we "need" to have when going riding...

yes, i tried the search... anyway my banshee is a bit too long for my crew cab bed. I know I have seen trucks with something holding their tailgate 1/2 way up. Anyone ever see this or know how they support their tailgate part way? Bill

Shook it down in the desert this morning. :biggrin: Every start 1st kick!! I weigh 280, so I need to adjust the suspension, but holy crap does this quad move. I do need to start looking around for rear tires suited for sand and rocks. OT: Ran over a snake, so I went back to get a pic. Soon as I turned off the Banshee I heard the rattle and bailed, I think the snake and I were both freaking out... BP uber stock...

Looking to buy a banshee soon. I am looking at a bone stock 2004 tomorrow. I had a 2002 raptor for a few years, but never a 2 stroke. What should I look for when checking out this Banshee? Also, some folks say I should just get another Raptor, that it better matches the desert riding I will be doing. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance... Bill
