Ok so today i got my truck insurance and it cost more then i freakin Have. It is forcing me to sell all of my toys. This is a stock 02 banshee. It comes wiht the following 02 banshee K&n pods ( not installed ) Two racing helmets( paid 125 for each. goggles chain lube. full tank of gas yamalube Sad thing is i had so many things planned for her. The only thing is it needs to be rejetted. ( or cabrs need to be cleaned a little. IF you let it warm up real good it will be fine. But if you only let her warm up for liek 3 minutes or so. it will bogg in first gear the first time you go, second gear its cleared up. It will run fine the rest of the day. So today was a normal old day but then i decided to work on my banshee. My kick start bearing is messed up. Somehow i got a littlwe groove in it. Now i cant move my kick start. so i was tearing open a thing of old bearings ina can. Using a falt head and bam. I was pushing so hard on the flat head that it slid off the can and on to my finger. SLiced allmost all the way threw it Bad things to this are that the flathead had metal shavings in it. And i was using gas a little urlier. LOL i dont know why i told yall this. I would pu tup some pics but its all bloodys and shit. So who has ever got hurt working on their banshee.

not that i know much about jetting. But you can feel it in the bike. The way it moves. My friend allways asks me to come over and ride his to see if it is runnung right when he does stuff to it.

Well it will be all im gonna do this banshee. besides like getting new top end rebuilds. new clutches. maybe make it shiny. polish the frame. tear it apart and pwder coat and paint the frame orange, and buy some black graphics. Idk i think i will jsut buy a new bike if i want to change the build

If it hss the stock aribox with snorkel. It will not die. i go threw like 2 feet worth of water. as long as the snorkel is on it, it wont die unless te water is above it.

Really he aint retarded. He put it on there because the banshee has no room for storage. He probably wanted to take stuff wiht him when he went on trips. It wouldnt even make that much of a difference int eh horsepower at all. not that heavy so so what. also hes trying soething new that i havent ever seen before. I bet when ben franklin found electricity every one thought he was retarded at first. It dont even look that bad.

You should buy toomey t-6 pipes. They are mroe for lower rpm riding and adapt to the stock motor alot better then the t-5's. The t-5's are used wiht more racingtype engines.

Banshees are not good to be aroudn water if you dotn have the stock airbox wiht the lid on. If the lid is off this would explain some what of the bogging if thats why it relly is. If the lid is off it will suck the water in and mess wiht the bike. But it shopuldnt really make it bog. If it has pods u cant even go over the water puddle wiht out it dying. You shoulda been able to just be bakc to normal after about letting it scream to 5th or 6th gear.

it would go for 1600 if it ran good. and had good compression. no one wants to put money into a bike that it still might cost them 1000 or so to fix all the way back up. The economy is going down. ::

Ok i just got a set of K&n pods. I want to put them on my bike. Will it make that much difference in the performance if i dont jet it right for them Or do i even have to jet it for them to go on. Sry i dont work on my bike that much. I only know about so much on her. I havent got to talk to my bike mechanic in a while. Im learning. lol Joe Thanks.
