Making a list of WHAT TO DO NEXT
Ineedmoney replied to Ineedmoney's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
Guys i knwo what im doing. jeez, IM not stupid. i jsut put them on that list. not doing them in that order. jsut trying to make the list of stuff i should do. -
Here u ladys go. Cheack out this bad ass shee. Here is the finished product for at least these next two weeks. Have no more money. What u guys think.
-
YEs sir. the basnhee motor is reliable. I forgot to put that in. As long as u keep care of your bike it will stay running. see people that go riding all day and everyday and then just put htere bike in the shed for 2 weeks and then just get her back out and rip her without ever cleaning her , now that will mess the motor up. Just make sure u do the following all the time Clean the air filter out ( i do it after every other ride) Change spark plugs. ( most times if your banshee has some sort of power loss it jsut needs its plugs changed.) clean out your carbs ( when you start to get boggy at idle to first and second) keep gunk and shit off your carbs and make sure your boots are tightened good to keep that shit out of your carbs. make sure u keep coolant in it.

No nono. its not on my banshee. i was just saying im gonna use race gas with my 17 cc head but i have the stock one right now.

I think u shoud learn how to spell! reliable lol but they are a tough motor. Alot of people thnk because there 2 strokes they dont last long. SHit my uncles 2 stroke has lasted since 1993. only had one top end done and still he is at 110 psi on each cylinder. It jsut depends on what u do wiht it. drag racing u will probably need a new top end once a year. If u trail ride and jsut play on it. u shouldnt need them that much. Once every two years at most. but it would still be safe to get one every year. jsut depends on your bike.

No what im saying is. my tank is empty right now. If i pour race fuel in it will it hurt my bike. I run pump fuel right now at 50 : 1 when im racing 32:1 for trail riding. Im going to a drag race event tommorow ngiht and was wondering if i could just use race fuel for that night. and then what ever is lef ti will ether run out or jsut take out and use at a later time.
-
Okay guys. I need ot know with the mods in my sig can i run race fuel. And what kind of race fuel can i run. I really dont knwo anything about race fuel but is it premixed when i get it. thanks. I will only be running it for on night.
-

Ineedmoney replied to crazycanuck's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
lol so true. my friends banshee is a bitch to jet its got tons of shit down to it and everytime he adds someting to do wiht the airflow its a bitch to rejet. -
Okay so i got my bike back the other day adn it ran freakin unique. after me and my cousin rejetted it. ' Well i get on it today and it is doing the same a=thing again that it did before i rejetted it. it is boggy when i first start it up. After this i hit first then second and it clears up for the rest of the time riding. Does anyone else experience this shit. Does it have to due wiht it beign more then 20 degrees colder then it was the other day. help me out here.

Whichs side is it What u need to do is clean the carbs out. one of your floats could havce got stuck. Mine was doing the sae thign a while back , clean the carbs and u should be fine
-
Ur compresion isnt bad but getting there. U can tighten ur air screws all the way and turn them out - 1.5 turns. thats waht it should be around with pipes. If it is a little rich i will need ot know what sea level ur at , mains/pilots ur running. Cleaning the carbs should fix the boggy problem, mine was a little boggy but i just rejetted it with a new main and pilot and cleaned them thouroly, and my bog went away. Make sure u dont leave ur gas on when the engine is not runnign. even when u are just stoping for like 5 minutes. It can make ur carbs nasty. info would be nice
-
Yeah it was late and i was really bored. so i jsut wrote this out. It really aint accurate. It is just what i have experienced. My buddy owns a bike shop so i ride them all the time. I know u can do alot more to a trail bike but i put those down there ecause most people that dont really know about banshees wont put a 4 mill into it untill they want to go to the dunes and race. trail bkes can be fast as hell but there suppose to be for bottom end and not fast. 4 mill will give it alot more bottom end but still nto everyone gets one on the trail bike like u do a dune bike. I know. i type fast so i mispell some words.

damn thats alot of different banshees. Wher edo u race at. where r these types of races found. I would liek to get into tese types of races. good job by the way

Ineedmoney replied to Ineedmoney's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods

Okay so i get on bansheehq every day and see the same post from different people asking what pipes to use wiht what. blah blah blah Okay so were gonna start out wiht the trail bike. Some mods u would see on a trail bike are maybe be 1. K&N 2. V force II reeds 3.and maybe a new set of tires 4. possibly a trail port. ( but not really needed) So u want to know what pipes to use fr this kind of set up. For trail riding u will want to have good low end. I have found after riding a bunch of different banshees that pro circuits are the best low end power pipe u can buy. THis beign said many people hate on these pipes and i dont know why. I know alot of people will also go wiht the fatties or gnarlys. The gnarlys are also a amazing low end pipe for this kind of set up. but the fatties are more for mid range i think. So basically if u were gonna go wiht a trail bike the best pipes for low end are gonna have to be 1. pro cirsuits for the WIN. 2. paul turners 3. gnarlys 4. fattys DUNE BIKE Next bike we will decide for. MOds this bike could have done to it 1. v force reeds 2. 4 mill crank 3. dune port wiht bored .40 over 4. + 4 swingarm 5. override tranny 6. bigger carbs 7 cool head wiht anwhere from 17 cc domes to 20 cc domes 8. + 5.5 timing NOw for all of the 4 mill bikes they would want there power from low all the way to high if they can get it. But most people decide on Toomey T-5's for a 4 mill. These are the pipe si personnally have on my bike. These pipes are amazing adn fill so good. I love the sound of them also. Some people will even go wiht cpis adn shearer inframes. I would have to say to go with toomey t-5s for mid to high range and go with the cpi or shearer for all top end. So the order i would place them in would have to be 1/ Toomey t-5's for the win. 2. Shearer inframes 3. cpi inframes Now for the complete fully strecthed out drag bike. U allready know how many mods it could have and would have to have to be a fully built drag bike so i wont make a list. Most people with drag bikes use the shearer or CPI out of frame pipes. These pipes are used for all top end power. 1. Shearer out of frames i hear are better then the CPI's 2. CPI for the second place NOw for a list of pipes and what they are good for for all of you people who want to know about pipes i didnt list. 1. Pro circuit - all pro circuit pipes increase the low rang epower to mid range the most not really any top end power increase. 2. FMF gnarlys - A great low end pipe troug the mid range, NOt so good on the top end. Mostly used for MX 3. FMF Fattys - Thsi pipe sis the most popular pipe that i know of, it is good for low to high. increase all of them and broadens the powerband. 4. Toomey t-5's - The most used pipe for the banshee, and the one they all talk about. U can use it for anything but mostly increase mid to top end power. 5. shearer - good for drag racing 6. CPI - good for drag racing GUYS PLEASE FEEL FREE TO PUT INPUT ON THIS TOPIC. THIS IS JUST WHAT I HAVE DISCOVERED AFTER RIDING MANY DIFFERENT BANSHEES.
