sweet bike, i really like the 08 colors, but i still dont understand why they dont still bring the banshee brand new anymore, i mean they bring all the other 2strokes that are still being made, but yet the banshee is missing out of the lot

damn, those cub cylinders are a STEAL for that price, anyways IMO, if i had the money if would get those in a heart beat

sorry for making so many threads, but i got a question. I had the blue bike in oregon with the rocket pipes, and somehow i managed to burn the material on my pants on the right pipe. Now its stained. whats the best way to remove that without scratching the pipe itself? i can take a knife and scrape but then i would scratch the pipe badly

ok, so im going to give jeff at fast tomorrow a call, to find out what domes i need to put in the bike to run it on premium gas. Second of all, i think that the owner of this bike is really the JD owner i think. His name is John Darren. So im not too sure about that. But i have measured the stroke, and i got a measurement of 55mm, which is 1mm of stock. So this is just a ported bike, and not a 4mm. Anyways i have decided to make the right decision and keep it, and then i will turn it into a 421cub for the next build, since im selling old blue and my dirtbike, so im saving up for the cub

what domes would i need? im at 3500ft elevation, and i would like to run premium gas in it with the bigger domes, but what size?

so what does race gas do, compared to normal gas? I know that it has a higher octane, and that it fires up quicker, but what else does it do? like does it increase horsepower over normal gas?

i am not going to list the whole list out on kijij, i told the guys, who ever is interested they can email me to get the full list of mods, pretty fare to me. the carbs are 33's i found out 3 days ago

thing is, noone is ever going to buy the parts off the blue one, especially stock ones, and we all know this as a fact. Im not going to start taking the bike apart just because two people want two things, if you know what i mean. I also hate the part about getting FUCKING lied by a stupid ass dealer, and by a guy, who the dealer said they "called" i asked for the guy's phone number they said they lost it. Fucking crumbs. That is why i prefer to build my own bike so i know exactly what it is. I was expecting a 4mil not a ported bike, cause like that i could have ported the blue one for 350 by fast racing, and put some big carbs on it

alfies front end is really sweet, i would go for his, i have seen it in person, its really sick, and in brand new condition

haha lol, i will not run it in the trails, open areas only lol. But we have to see first, i just posted the red one, if the blue one sells first, then so be it, ill keep the red one, and put the domes in it

thanks for all the reply's guys. I am forced to sell it, since i cannot afford race fuel, and i dont want it running on premium. And plus its just a stock ported 350, and i was really looking for a 4mil or a cub. so i have decided to sell it, and i am going to rebuilt old blue to a 421 cub running on premium. I really dont want to take the top end apart, since i dont have all the tools needed. But i know for sure that its got 19cc domes in it. My dads also wants to sell it, and he said for me to rebuild old blue and make her the way i want to, but the funds are limited as well. Anyways i hate to see it go, and you may think im crazy or stupid or mental, but its my decision and my dads

im thinking, im going to empty the gas tank, and put in it 1L of premium gas only. Even though it only takes race gas, ill still put premium and run it, then see what happens

well guys, my banshee runs on race gas, and race gas here in Canada is very expensive, My question is, does the little Octane Boost work to put it in premium gas to obtain a higher octane than 94? Cause i need it to obtain at least 105octane. Has anyone else used this stuff before? Any help is greatly appriciated

i was saying that i need to change the domes, or use octane booser with premium gas to obtain race fuel. If that doesnt work then i gotta change the domes, so i can run it on premium

well im going to take the head off soon anyways, cause i gotta change the domes. I'm going to 20cc domes, cause i got 19cc but it runs on race fuel, and race fuel here is really expensive (140 bucks 5gallons) which will last me a ride

yeah, i took the airbox lid off and it ran lean, but that was only for 2hrs. With the lid on, it was really rich

Use something Called "BLUE-JOB" you find it at your local dealer, if not at the harley dealers. Its a white powder. Anyways, My rockets had alot of bluing on them, and i used blue job to get it off. If you follow their steps it will take forever. So what i came up with is, using the car polisher, i got the pad a little wet, and then put the white powder on it, the applied it to the pipe, and turned it on,then i held it in one spot for quite some time, and all of the sudden it disappeared. Here are some pics to give you an idea of what this thing does Notice in this picture how the bluing got to the pipe hanger (all the way from the cylinder), and then it was yellow to the end of the front fender. BAM, these are the pipes after i used blue job on them. Notice the bluing is all gone. The pipes are mounted on my other bike in this pic, so dont think that im tricking you or something.
