Brooke and I had a very open and frank discussion about our "relationship" and I think we both understand that neither of us was trying to cut down the other. Unlike some on the HQ, I have not studied Brookes body well enough to distinguish it by... " the shape of her hips, and the way her stomach looks... Her stomach looks tight, but still has that soft look to it. " It seems I saw some torso's on Zoolander that could also be described that way. Both male and female. Besides I think my stomach looks tight and yet soft too:lol::lol: I was not commenting on anything not in reas's pic so anything above the bottom 1.1978372" of halter and anything behind what is seen in the pic is up to someone elses imagination. -

Well all I can say to that Brooke is you're half the man I am and I've got pics to prove it  I have done nothing but commend you when possible and challenge you to reach for greater heights. And you never returned my email when I asked you why you were leaving. What's that all about? -

Brooke, All I can say to that is that if you can't handle a GUY cutting HIIMSELF down, with a fat belly and his nipple hangin' out that is saying he's got more cleavage than a girl, then you totally missed the point. You obviously have too many issues to be light hearted. And since you have already abandoned the HQ and said you were leaving, I highly suggest you take your respite from this group and get some therapy while you're away. I of course will be happy to have you stay as you are or come back a totally different person. I accept YOUR flaws, can you at least do the same for me? -

Well let me just say this... Satan himself would be shoppin' for a snowmobile and winter parka before my wife would pose for pics of ANY kind that would wind up on here. But so as not to disappoint, check this torso out... at least I got some cleavage in mine  -

MEat... you gotta post again. I didn't have the poll set up right. -
While I'm pretty sure I am one of the ones being held responsible for Sainty's flight from the forums here, I for one would be happy to have him back. He seemed to be very knowledgable and unlike some others who profess to know alot, Sainty was at least willing to share. One of the problems I see with having some of the Banshee geniuses on a forum is that they get bombarded with stupid or redundant questions. That's why I think it would be best to ask them to answer a list of questions after they have been posted to a single page. It could be announced that {for example} Stuart Toomey will be answering questions on August 1st. Please post your questions to the Banshee Genius page. A moderator would on a daily basis screen out the stupid and redundant questions and then on August 1st he would come thru, answer the questions and if possible OFFER DISCOUNTS on his products to promote sales. {Here's where he gets paid... volume sales}. One of the reasons Toomey comes up so often is that he does actually ALREADY answer questions. He loves his business and the Banshee and is always willing to return an answer even to a question I'm sure he gets a million times a day. That wouldn't need to be part of a premier account, it would just take some knowledgable volunteers and some managament to get it going. As far as paying for a premier account, if it provides funds that are needed to keep the HQ alive, then great. If Lee and Brooke can sell web space or something else to keep the funds rolling in and it's usable, then sign me up. A BHQ golf tee is completely useless to me but a cool sticker or flag or shirt... I may have some money for that.

It seems like this needs to be bumped again. I even had an HQ member that bid on some of my stuff and I haven't gotten paid for that either. No names yet but I haven't heard anything in a while.

***Please take this POLL about water and sticking throttle**
Holyman replied to fixitrod's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
OK... never had a sticking problem til today. I went riding for about 45 minutes. Outside temp was about 70. Rode mostly trails a little open stuff. No problems. Came home and washed it. Started it up to ride it around to the garage and it stuck a little just off idle. Blipped the throttle and it idled right down. About 1/2 hour later my kid came home and asked if we could go for a ride. I went to the gas station for more gas, came back and we went for a ride. It was sticking left and right. So we have almost 45 minutes from the time it got wet and stick the first time to the the time I actually went for a ride and it stuck repeatedly for the 1/2 hour we were riding. My specs... 28MM bored stock carbs. Toomey 2:1 filter with outerwear. TORS removed. Boyeson reeds. No engine work that I know of. This crap has got to stop 'cause I'm not going to tolerate it. WE HAVE GOT TO GET THIS FIGURED OUT!!! -
I'm gonna back up fix's comment and throw a HUGE AMEN out to benbb. GREAT ideas. His concept of the post Q's for a week and then get a Banshee superstar like Stuart Toomey to reply on a one time basis would be awesome AND it would filter out the know-it-alls like rKt who hasn't ever answered a single question that was posed to him. I'd really like to know about the attached website feature too. {if that's what you meant} [email protected] would be great since I've wanted to start my own site for a long time now and I really don't need that much space. I could bring traffic to the HQ and the HQ could host my site and bring traffic to me. My biggest concern is that I'd hate for the Premiere site to take away from the regular site in ANY way. I think some sort of elite, mutual admiration society would just ruin what's been started here and would detract from the contribution each of us makes {appreciated or not}. As far as perks go, I can do without the nudie pics but Bens talent with the calenders is nice and it would be cool if he did that on a monthly basis highlighting a riders quad and a special person together each month. Heck you could even switch off and do a best of and worst of on rotating months. One perk I'd like is a sticker or shirt or mug or something to go with the premiere membership that is only availible to Premiere members. That way I can show off on the trails or the mall or at breakfast and still not be a jerk about it. {unless I want to be a jerk about it  } As far as discounts go, I think if discounts are to be gotten, then everyone should be able to get in on the deal. Afterall the guys who can't afford the Premiere site are the ones who probably need the discounts the most. These are fellow riders afterall. Speaking of fellow riders, maybe the membership dues would go toward a special page for tech info that won't change such as stock specs and factory color schemes from various years. And maybe some of the Premiere members could be highlighted twice a month {1 person is highlighted for 2 weeks and then another} where they could answer some basic interview questions and maybe give some helpfull tips on what helps them win races, keep their bike up and running, special mods they've done, or a shop or 2 they've had good success with. This could prove to be a great referrence for new readers and could be a great resource when Q's come up about a specific mod or shop or tech tip. The contributer could be contacted directly and if it was of benefit to the whole group, they could post it in the general forum for additional discussion. Well that's it for now. Keep the ideas coming and keep us up to date especially on the price!

Nice theory but it seems that not only have people taken the teflon off the slides but also have run with the tors removed. It seems you may have had a different problem. -
The sky is falling the sky is falling!!! I can't imagine how many Banshees have been sold based on panic buying that it will be the last one ever made. One day they will stop being made for real but the economy is too brittle to expect people to buy a quad that will only be a Raptor under another name {because I'm sure it won't be a 2 stroke} and you know they'd never make it less expensive and they'd have to put 100's of thousands of dollars into manufacturing it. If they have in fact made the last one, the ones I own just doubled in value.

Seems appropriate to bump this one to the top again given new revelations about scammers among us. C'mon Twoods... how do you explain this one?AND if your dad is the one that works for Trinity and gets the super hookup on cheap parts, give us HIS number and we'll ALL place an order. Whith the money he'll pull in, he can retire.

I knew it was bound to happen one day... I'd be the oldest guy in the room  36.25 years old. I need to go rest now.

It would seem that according to RZ's definition a motor is an engine but an engine is not a motor. Kinda like the whole square is a rectangle but a rectangle is not a square thing.
-
That's one thing that can be said about the middle east. If they catch you getting the "five finger discount" you draw back a nub. PRESTO no more discount  You sure would have a hard time typing a bunch of junk with no fingers. Then they could honestly say "gotta get rid of my quad... can't ride anymore"

I was just thinking about the guys on ebay or even those that might be lurking in here who want to extort money and not produce goods. What should be done to them?

QuadingIsLife...mystery question
Holyman replied to Seymor's_CR's topic in General Banshee Discussion
Here's an abstract thought for all you "thinkers" out there. Story problem... There's a retarded guy in your neighborhood that by co-incedence inherited a large amount of property. Everybody in town knows him and knows he's retarded. The retarded guy is OK most of the time but he does some strange stuff. If he sees you at McDonalds he'll sit at your table and eat your fries no matter who you're there with. He pees on the tires of your car 'cause he thinks it's fun to be like a dog. etc. The cool thing about the retarded guy is that he always lets everyone ride on his property. And he's always there. ALWAYS THERE. Watching and making comments about everything you do. It's annoying but he is so dedicated to ATVing that you just roll your eyes and keep riding. One day the city planner {who also knows the retard} decides to annex the retards property and put up a Chucky Cheese. They promise the retard hat if he sells the property he will be able to go to Chucky Cheese any time he wants. The retard loves Chucky Cheese. Now here's the problem. You know the city planner is secretly trying to get the retard put in a home where he will be strapped to a chair and forced to watch Love Boat re-runs for the rest of his life. On the other hand he really messed up a date you had going on with some college hotty that was visiting your neighbor; when he sat down with you and ate your fries and then peed on the tires of your freshly cleaned car. What are you gonna do??? I say leave the retard alone. He obviously lives for ATVing. If you get him thrown into the "home" he will just become a violent retard and a burden on our tax system and the Chucky Cheese will go out of business after 4 years anyway and that whole riding area will be lost. AND most importantly we will lose an advocate for our sport. I voted to let him stay -
tors or not to tors that is the question
Holyman replied to slyguy_98335's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
Unlike most of the other worthless stuff on a stock banshee that I've kept, The TORS caps and the air filter are a must to get rid of. -
I have Toomey's T5 on my 99 and FMF Gold on the 95. The T5's are an excellent pipe and although I have not run both pipes on the same quad, I like the T5 better. The FMF has a more noticeable pull at a certain point but the Toomey's pull longer. I also have the Hush Kit on the T5's which makes it nice and quiet. The sound is still there but it doesn't rattle the windows a mile away like they do without the kit. I recently got a pair of Motofast 2:1 pipes which I haven't tried yet. I'll probably put them on the 95 and see how they compare to the FMF's. The other cool thing about Toomey's pipes is that if you have questions, you can email them and actually talk to Stuart Toomey!!!

I agree with the above. The other benefit of the RZ is the fact that if you blow a piston, you can get another jug pretty cheap as opposed to the mono block big bore powervalve jugs where you'd have to buy the whole thing all over again if it couldn't be resleeved. By the way... if anyone can tell me or better yet show me how one of those exhaust powered valves work, I'd really appreciate it.
