  1. Yea, i figured the crowd will be huge. I think I'm going up friday night and getting a spot, maybe we can get a few other members to do the same and some what "save" a little area for the others that come saturday. The website said practice is a 5pm, racing at 6....but i'm sure most the racers will show up early and etc.
  2. I was browsing Haspin Acres site, and I just noticed May 16th they are having a Triple Crown series motocross race with all the various classes. How will this effect our group as far as parking, camping and etc? Has anyone been there on a race weekend?
  3. Did the silencers work out good? Also, what is everyone going to bring? It'd suck to show up with 15 bags of chips, and 2 packs of buns..
  4. I'm in 100% agreeance with that. But when I sold it, I still thought you guys wanted to do it to help him, out and I guess thats where I was wrong. I even told T_shee, I'm trying hard to get another Banshee before the benefit so that It can go down. I honestly thought this was all about helping him out. And I do apologize about the misunderstanding man. I hope I'm still wanted at the ride and etc. I dont care about the benefit, I care about BHQ, and having a great time with the members! I've been helping my family all I can..if that makes sense? My only concern now is for people to know it was a simple mix up, and that I was not trying anything "fishy"...know what I mean?
  5. Like I had said, I def. understand what you're saying there, but I think where this all got messed up is people thinking the benefit was for "ME", and that was for sure not the case. It was strictly to help them out. I'm sorry that it was taken that way, no doubt about that. I 100% understand where everyone is coming from, especially when the econonmy is the way it is, people def. want to becareful with the money they spend. Since the beginning, I have had NO problem with not doing the benfit, and just the ride! Thats all good, I just want to make sure it's KNOWN I was not trying anyting "fishy" as it has been said. Know what I mean? I just want it to be known, I'm a stand up guy and would NEVER, EVER joke about something like that. Does that make sense bro? As far as who has been PM'ing you these "stories", I would love for that person to PLEASE pm me, so I have some kind of idea what they are taking about, because I'd like to "know" what you "know"? It will be kept between me and you, in PM. Thanks!!
  6. Not taking anything personal at all man..lol But, I would ask if you could quote me on where I claimed it was for a "friend" about the bike? I never said that either, I said that I offered lower in cash to see what he would really take to help others out on here, that may be SERIOUSLY interested, because I felt like it was VASTLY over priced. I never once said it was for a friend? That is probably why it is not adding up for you, which is really not a big deal bro. As far as the clutch cover, I didnt see why I could not bid? I had previously stated that had/will be giving money to them, EVERY chance I got, but it seems like everyone on here expected me to sell my cars, house, and family off and give them ALL the money I had? I have my own family and etc as well, and have given them (as I have stated numerous times) over 3k ALREADY, but I mean one can only give so much. I love him to death, but at the same time they (and I thought you guys) wouldnt expect me to sell everything I have and pinch pennies to give them ALL my money. I have a my own life, and have learned through my parents deaths, and through other hard times, you do your best to help, but at the same time, you do not put yourself or your family out in the process. My aunt did not expect a DIME from me, and with a house payment, 2 kids, and a stay at home wife, I think I have went above/beyond giving them as much as I have. But, will continue to do so, each chance I get!! I hate that people were thinking this way at all! I thought when this all started, that you guys WANTED to do this as a benefit, to help them and just simply help out. I'm not sure how it all got out of hand, and the crazy assumptions came up. And you, knowing me a little better than some of these other guys,(albeit not GREAT) I thought you may had got a better feel of what type of person I was? But, I guess not. Is this what everyone is thinking, because if so, hell...it's obvious I may not be wanted on the site and/or the ride. And, I would surely hope that is not the case?
  7. Lol....griggs is a pretty big guy too.
  8. Nah Fellas, it was a misunderstanding.....I never said I was "hurting" for money or anything, but if you're truly interested just go here: http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...9678&st=240 Page 17, and 18.....full explanation and etc. Love the site, and the members, and certainly do NOT want a bad name. To the seller; Sorry your thread was hijacked...but I said I had the 4k to see how firm you were on the price so that other HQ'ers or whoever might be able to get a REAL good deal. Best of luck on the sale man.
  9. I am too....Badlands was a crazy time....and with us camping...holy hell. LOL! I'm trying to decide if a tent is the wat to go, or just sleep in the SUV..
  10. WTF? lol....I'll have a 4th of one of those bad boys..
  11. I actually just noticed how you smeared my name all over another thread too, and there were 8-10 members who posted after that who now think I'm some kind of con artist or something. I would have rather you pm'ed me or something rather than ruining my reputation on here in one post. I'm not too sure why you did that, but I dont appreciate that at all man. I have no problem at all with not doing the benefit, and I dont know if I did not explain it good enough before, so I will again. My uncle got cancer a little while back, I had put my Banshee up for sale during that timeframe. Then the benefit ride came about, and that was great idea. It was all about raising money to go toward the cost of treatment, and etc. NOTHING was coming to me. This was for them. They were having a rough time, and then a guy came to look at the banshee. He wanted to buy it, so I went ahead and let it go (knowing I could get another one in the same price range, before the benefit) I GAVE the $2200 to them, and they did what they needed to, and used some for a treatment. I got my regular taxes back, and picked up a decent shee, fairly cheap today. I'm married, have a job, a son, a kid on the way, and I NEVER said that I, MYSELF was EVER hurting for cash, I said they were, and I was doing all I could to help. I've gave them a little over 3k total, and was going to give them what I could from the benefit. So, I do not understand how that came about, I thought we were raising money for my UNCLE and his family...not me? I stated in the very beginning, that this was a benefit to aide his costs, and it would be fun to do an HQ benefit. Here is my original post when I first brought it up.....I NEVER said I was "hurting" and I also said my shee would remain for sale, until things were final. "As some/most of you know I had a family member that has been diagnosed with cancer. I automatically put my Banshee up for sale, in order to help out with treatments. Most will be covered, but I know a few wont, so I want to surprise my family by helping! A few members indicated that they would be down for a benefit ride. After thinking on it, I wanted to start this topic and see if there is really any interest at all. It wouldnt matter to me what you could donate/spare as it would go to a GREAT cause, and I would get to keep my Banshee. We could possibly make the "Haspin Trip" the benefit ride if you guys would like. If everyone is interested, that would be great! I'm trying to raise around $1800 total for him. If we do this, I would have a jar or whatever and like I said I wouldnt care if you put .05 in there or $50 in there, every little bit gets me closer to the goal, all with keeping my Banshee! Until we finalize everything, my Banshee will remain for sale, so if there is any interest in it check the for sale section. Thank you, and GOD BLESS." - Page 4 of this thread As I said before, It's totally cool to not do it, but doing what you did to my name...and making me look bad, not cool.
  12. Our trip is a little over 2 weeks away...we all decided to can the benefit, due to a misunderstanding. I want to thank all the members for even thinking about the idea, and etc...and keep us in your prayes! But it all is working out for the BEST! So, now that we're closer post if you're coming and what you're bringing for the cookout: 1. IndianapolisBuck- Coming for sure Bringing: 4 packs buns, case of pop, paper plates
  13. That's perfectly fine. I actually sold it, gave my family the money, and picked this one up today when the money came through. But I understand what you're saying and I'll vote to just ride as well! That way there is less to worry about, and plus people have no worries as well. I had a great time last ride, and plan on having a great time this go round! I REALLY REALLY appreciate you guys even coming up with the Idea, and also for the prayers and everything! The only thing is, I dont really appreciate how you post made me look like I was making it up, and it was a fraud. Cancer is a SERIOUS SERIOUS disease, and coming from someone who lost BOTH parents to different types of diseases (mother= meningitis, father=heart disease) I would NEVER joke about something like that. Especially now that my uncle has cancer. Other than that, no hard feelings AT ALL!! Again, I appreciate all the thoughts and prayers, and I hope that you guys continue to keep him/us in your thoughts! Cant wait to RIDE!!!
  14. did you see my post above?
  15. I'll have the SUV...seats laid down...a few people can pile in there..lol
  16. Whoa now......lol. I was just seeing how low he would go on it to help some others out..I'm one who is tired of always seeing overpriced quads, so thats all that was. I actually bought a Banshee for 1600 today (T_shee can verify, as I borrowed his trailer to go get it) I sold my Banshee for $2200 about 3 weeks ago, and gave ALL that money to my uncle and the family. T_shee can verify that I sold it as well. We just got our first time homebuyers tax credit back, and I was able to pick up a Banshee. I did not want to sell my 1st shee that I had, but they needed the help at that time. I actually JUST walked through the door from going to pick up the Banshee I just bought. It costs about, 30,000 just for treatment, and I thought a benefit ride would be a great way to raise some more cash for the family, and have a good time with the HQ members. That's pretty much all there is to that one. I'm not sure what seems "fishy" about it, but I could have his doctor write a letter to the HQ confirming he has the cancer? If you guys want to can the whole benefit, that's 100% not a problem at all! Just let me know! I still plan to attend, camp, bring pop and chips...etc. Sorry it took so long, but I had to go to the Ohio line to get the Banshee. So, it's TOTALLY up to you guys! Let's vote...........Benefit or just ride?
  17. Yes, silent auction is still on....we should have enough parts to do it with. No businesses wanted to get onboard, but alot of parts are being brought.
  18. You mean our May 16th ride  How much do you want for your T5's? But hell, the way it's goin I may beable to buy a set of the 916's without even pre-paying...lol
  19. Since this is for a benefit, I'm hoping that they dont want a cut of the money...They have yet to contact me back though.
  20. I have called and e-mailed Haspin multiple times, with no response. So, I dont know on that aspect. I will be the one down at the end writing down the winners though. Maybe someone else can try and contact them? Maybe they will have better luck.
  21. I have a NICE 1996 Honda Civic with only, 133,670 miles on the clock. It's 4 dr, auto w/ cruise. power windows, locks, etc. 6 disc Kenwood cd changer in the trunk. The Interior is in GREAT GREAT shape. It has a few dings on the outside, nothing major at all. It KBB's at $3100. OR I have a FULL set of NEW(1 round on them) golf clubs and a Champagne Diamond Engagement ring that I would trade for a Banshee as well. These Items combined are worth right at $2700. Clubs: 2009 Callaway Big Bertha Irons 2009 Cobra Speed LD Driver 2009 Callaway X-Steel 3 W 2008 Odyssey White Hot Putter 2008 Cleveland CG14 SW MAxfli Cart bag (new) Callaway Towel (new) Dozen Callaway HX balls And the Diamond Ring. For the right Banshee, I dont mind combining the car, and clubs...maybe even the ring. Thanks. If there is ANY interest, please let me know! I will e-mail pics of the honda, ring, or clubs right away. Thanks! I'm in Indianapolis, and looking to deal!!
  22. e-mail sent.....
  23. Wow! That is stepping up in a major way! REALLY appreciated! Hitting even $2000 would be just beyond my expectations, but would be GREAT because we have 2 businesses on board that will match what we raise at Haspin (my aunts work, and the triple A ball team in indy) So, we're really excited!! Looks like we will have a decent auction after all!! We'd have to vote on the 2 drag classes.....thats up to the members who are putting the $20 up. I'm going to do a conformation thread and etc in the next week or so with a detailed schedule of events, and etc...members can vote in there.
