Yea, there can also be trail riding and etc.....the drag shootout shouldnt take too long. 5-8 seconds per run...single elimination... Another Idea could be a "split the pot" with half going to the benefit and half to the winner...... So far: 1. "Donation Jar" 2. Drag Shootout ($20 entry, 1/2 to payout and 1/2 to benefit) 3. Orange Track Timed rund ($20 entry, 1/2 to payout and 1/2 to benefit) 4. Thats a real good idea too... We could have the regular "donation" jar for whatever people could spare, a drag shootout (20 entry, 1/2 payout 1/2 benefit) We could do timed drag for the seeding, I'll bring a big dry erase board and will make a braket. And then we could do the same thing around the course, but a little twist: everyone does a "timed" lap to set up the bracket, and then we'll seed them accordingly, and everyone does 2 times laps for the bracket. 20 to enter that on, 1/2 payout, 1/2 benefit. I can get a couple T-shirts made up: BansheeHQ 2009 "Quads for a cause" "Drag Shootout champion" ^^ Same for the trail. This could really be a badass day, and we could raise some real money. I'm extremely excited that you guys are on board here, absolutely amazing. I think this just shows that there are still GREAT people out there! With those two events, and whatever is thrown in the jar, I think It could be REALLY close to what I need (pending the turnout)

nope....when I found out, I instantly put it up for sale. I think a float is stuck and I need to unclog that line. Shouldnt take us long...A guy offered me $2000, but if we get this ride goin, rather decline and keep my shee! Like I was saying, we could make it for the official haspin trip we have planned? Or we could do it another weekend, dont wanna step on anyones toes that already planned a trip.

As some/most of you know I had a family member that has been diagnosed with cancer. I automatically put my Banshee up for sale, in order to help out with treatments. Most will be covered, but I know a few wont, so I want to surprise my family by helping! A few members indicated that they would be down for a benefit ride. After thinking on it, I wanted to start this topic and see if there is really any interest at all. It wouldnt matter to me what you could donate/spare as it would go to a GREAT cause, and I would get to keep my Banshee. We could possibly make the "Haspin Trip" the benefit ride if you guys would like. If everyone is interested, that would be great! I'm trying to raise around $1800 total for him. If we do this, I would have a jar or whatever and like I said I wouldnt care if you put .05 in there or $50 in there, every little bit gets me closer to the goal, all with keeping my Banshee! Until we finalize everything, my Banshee will remain for sale, so if there is any interest in it check the for sale section. Thank you, and GOD BLESS.

Pic/video are a MUST!!! Well, an update from the "paint" adventure, they dont look too bad. Of course, not professional but I think better than the ragly rust. I got just a little bit of overspray on the back of one of my shock covers but for a temporary fix, I'm satisfied I guess ( I have to be right? LOL) Cant wait until tomorrow....I'm putting my tires on today, giving her a bath...and getting the paddle tires ready!! I wont be the fastest, but I'll be having the most FUN!!!! Cant wait guys.

Well, I did something semi-stupid tonight ....lol. When I bought my banshee the stock A-arms were rusted up pretty bad, so I got a wire wheel and grinded them down to bare metal...being the genious that I am, I had some "textured" metallic black rust-o-leum that happened to "catch" my eye. and to my shagrin, I had some masking take laying a few feet away too......here I go with a bright Idea...let's paint the A-Arms and that way they will have the rust-o-leum protection...So i taped off a few things and gave it a shot. It looked alright to me by garage light, but we'll really see how they look in the light. I hope they dont look TO bad...but hell I guess that will hold them off until I get my aftermarket A-arms... Is it saturday yet? I'm ready for a full day of riding!!
