first time ridin down this long ass gravel road with this kid i just met in the trails by my house.. he was on his banshee i was on my ltr, and he just looks at me and then takes off, so i assume he wants to race... well i got a handful and passed him and looked back then noticed i was pullin on him like a mofo and then i look back forward and there was a slight turn so i say " O shit o shit o shit o shit!" (tried using my front brakes, but of course at the time i had a bent rotor so they didnt work at all) so i slam on my back brakes and start pumping them and down shifting trying to slow down and the bike just starts slidin sideways and then i look forward and see i am heading straight for this random ass IRON WELL.. like 4 feet tall and about a foot in diameter.. and im tryin to save it.. well i slowed down to about 40-ish and then said my for real like no turnin back "OHH SHITT!!" and so i bailed with like 2 feet until i hit, made it off the bike just in time and then my leg hit the pole and ripped my whole pant leg off and shoes too.. flipped twice in the air and laded in a random ass pile of junk tires on the other side of this ditch.. i didnt break any bones, only pancaked a footpeg into my frame and thats all.. someone was lookin out for me

I want to build a beast bike, and i want it to compete... but i cant seem to find a shee engine with upwards of 70hp for cheaper than $1500... i already have an r1 engine, but the framework is gunne cost another $800.. and thats not including the crapload of money i have to spend to get one off parts made for this bike to even come together.. i just got to thinking today.. and i cant figure out which to go with. (keep in mind im 17 and dont have like $2500 to dispose of) so which way you guys think i should go?

yeah i was going with a +10 and feelin pretty comfortable about it.. but i just saw this +16 for $300 and just wanted to check up on it... and yeah the engine has to be at least 100 lbs lol.. its frickin heavyyy.. but thanks for all the input guys, ill just stick with the 10... appreciate it

i found a +16 swingarm on ebay, looks good.. im just curious if this is overkill. my bike has 160 horsepower and 85 ft lbs of torque (its a 2001 R1 engine) in a stock frame, so would a +16 work? im running 26x12x12 sand blasters. and im in louisiana (cuz i know the type of sand has alot to do with it...) Any help is appreciated.. thanks
-
ok i have some lonestar +2+1's and the bilt thing on the ends of the a-arms is to big for my stock spindles... as in the spindles cant slide on past the threads of the bolts, so i cant mount them. Do i have to drill out the holes on the spindles to fit these a arms? has anyone else had to do this?

a 2004 limited what?? you forgot to include what kinda bike you have for trade
-
