-

Still got the cylinders and pistons? Im interested. -
Will you be willing to sell just the top end?
-
Yeah, I tried that piece of junk. I ordered it and the parts didnt fit right, they werent cut in the right places and it makes your front end look very cluttered. In my opinion dont do it.

I have a stock set of front and rear tires if you are interested. PM me They are just sitting there, not being used.

I know that CPI pipes are good but I got some Toomey T6 that I would trade if interested. Im not sure how they compare though.

LOL I wouldnt do that. I was told the same thing when I was replacing my lightened flywheel. Okay, well I can see down the cylinders and I do see chunks of my piston have made their way down there. so I know that I will have to clean it out at least. But as soon as my case is open I will update you guys.

Yeah, thats what I was hoping. is there any special tools or anything that I would need to open it up? I think I will do that tonight and I will post the pic. Yeah, I can see pieces of piston lol down where the crank is. What will I look for when I get to that point to see any damage? Ill post after work and its all open. Hopefully around eight o clock pacific time.

Well, I opened up the motor and this is what I found. I have a hole in the piston lol. The head has chunks of metal fused with it also. I took the cylinders off and I can see some shavings of the piston down in the crankshaft area. I see that I will need a new top end, but can i just clean out the bottom end or will I need to replace too. Lemme know what you guys think, thanks in advance. -Ray

Yeah, I do have some ability, I did do a complete tear down and rebuild when I powder coated my frame, so iI know my bike. Im just worried if I dont notice something or miss checking it out. i will post pics of my poor motor asap. I will greatly appreciate all of your help through this whole process. And I dont plan on doing anything till after that holidays you know, lol. Any other advice will be great. Thanks

I was riding some trails and a few high speed tracks when my motor just seized up. I noticed that my overflow from my radiator was spitting steam and my head (which was powdercoated silver) is now gold and the high temp paint I had on the cylinders peeled off. I showed my mechanic and he said my water pump went out that is what burned up all of the oil and locked up my motor. I added oil and now I can kick it over, but there is NO compression in right cylinder and very little in left. He said I need a new top end without a doubt, but not sure on the bottom end because he didnt open it up yet. He offered to sell me his 4mm stroker crank and dune port my motor for 1800. I dont know much about interior motor work for two strokes. Just the basics. Im wondering if that is a good deal, do I need it or just repair to stock bore and stroke for 800. Most of my riding is at GLAMIS, CA but I also want to beat my buddys Raptor 700 too. I have, Toomey T6, Boost Bottle, V Force reeds, 1/4 inch spacers, +4 advance timing, lightened flywheel, sprocket teeth set up for acceleration, jetted stock carbs, K&N individual intake filters and milled head. Thank you in advance. How reliable is this set up, and how much power increase am I looking at?
