  1. I just got my banshee back from Kevin last night

He rebuilt the top and bottom end.. and did some work with my carbs.. some new domes and some plate my for cool head.. and took the boost bottle off lol

I didn't get it ported.. yet.. but I did get the 4 mil crank

I have some other little things that need to be fixed but I can't wait to ride it this weekend

Kevin was a super nice guy to deal with.. and explained everything and answered all my questions and then some

I haven't heard my banshee run in over 2.5 years.. and she sounds better now than she ever did.. and that was with 2.5 yr old gas in it lol

that bullying. dont run 2 year old gas in your banshee. would u like to drink 2 year old milk? i didnt thinks so. i heard gas starts to break down in 2 weeks so that gas was total garbage for ur SHEE. i never run gas that is like older than 2-3 weeks old in my SHEE.

  2. i call my SHEE alot of things. i always think of it as a female like all machines. if it was a male i wouldnt have to take care of it. lol I have to put more time into my shee than i do my girl sometimes. not very often tho. and i also refer to it as my other girlfriend or my baby. i dont care wat neone thinks about me. if they dont wanna be my friend cause of my vocabulary, thats fine i have plenty of friends already. well im gonna go ride my shees now. peace

  3. If you use the same battery and regulator I use it would cost around $130.00, you could probably pull it off for less than $100.00 though. You can run these lights with just the dc conversion and no battery. Like youy said, you wouldn't be able to leave them on without a battery.

I wont give out prices on the thread for the lights, because I pay alot less than other distributor do for them.

ok well i am prolly gonna do the dc converison and then i will pm you in a few weeks hopefully and go from there. i thought a dc convert would be alot more. im gonna go for it.

  4. since their led u have to convert to dc correct? arent diodes polar? im just wondering if i want to go dc so i can have lights without it runnin and shit.

how much would u say it cost to convert to DC? im okay with electric so im not worried about the actual work, just price. im doin a frame swap cause mines bent and wouldn't mind doin the DC convert while i have the whole bike apart.

  5. JD's look nice, but I am afraid that the Galfer rotors are better............. though they are much more expensive. :geek:

just curious of the difference. only thing i could think of was maybe the material. is there a different method to making them and such?

  6. This Banshee thing is a passion..... You can see by all the super modded drag bikes, the dunners and the mudder bikes that Banshees are made into.

Parts will be here for another 30 plus years as they made only a couple of changes as mentioned above for all the production years.

    (endless parts supply,,,,forever)

    They look Bad ass period.

They scream at you and not burp at you when riding by others.

    Its pure thrill period.

If simple is what you want, buy a YFZ-450 or Rapter.

If special is what you want, build it yourself.

    My 5 cents worth.....

    X2

  7. Well before it would start. Now that i switched everything and then put it back to the way it was it wont start. It was starting but no idle it would take 1/4 throttle to make it idle. Where is the pilot jet located. And what do i need to do to make it run!

if you tell us what your mods are, ur elevation, and temps. someone might be able to get u pretty close on your jetting.

and like loco said u will have to remove the bowl on the carb and the pilot will be the other jet next to the one u changed already. which is the main jet.
