  1. Offers.....bump...local sale only...
  2. Thanks and the only reason I am selling is that I want to build a rzr 1000 for my wife and I.
  3. it is a +6 over. it was on the bike when I purchased it.. I might have the reciept for it ....looks like a modquad as it is a tube model.
  4. message sent with higher res pictures
  5. With just a port match no dune or drag port it dynoed at 95hp. Cameron said I would gain a couple once it broke in. Runs super strong and realiable as I have never had a issue with it. Cameron said that if I wanted to dune or drag port it would jump up to over 100hp easy. I had this built to be a great dune bike and still beat your buddies keeping it reliable with lots of torque as you can ride it like a 4 stroke and ease up hills or hammer down and fly up anything.
  6. Up for sale is a 2006 Yamaha Banshee built from the ground up. Frame and hubs are powder coated green. Front a-arms are chrome. Motor is a 4mil Supercub built and dyno tuned by Cameron at Redline racing. 4 mil hot rods crank with tz bearing, lockout clutch, Redline racing cool head, Billet clutch basket and heavy duty clutch, 35mm pwk carbs with K&N filters, CPI big bore headers that are ceramic coated black with Cascade innovations exhaust. Black Fullbore plastics with cascade innovations custom seat cover. Fox float shocks up front and a remote reservoir rear works rear shock. +6 chrome swingarm. Motor has less than 30 hours since built. No extensive porting was done just a port matching the cases. Super reliable and runs strong. Lots of billet and chrome throughout. Wheels were just powdercoated gloss black and near new 12 paddle bead to bead extremes on back with Mohawk tires up front. Runs on race gas. Over 17k invested so my loss is your gain. Family is looking at going to a side by side to trade. $6000 OBO. Call 541-767-9179 for any questions and ask for Shawn.
  7. Thanks Starwriter I appreciate it....MODS please close posting.
  8. If you have a kick starter let me know I need one and dunefest here in oregon is two weeks away....Thanks.
  9. I am looking for a banshee kicker. Mine has slop on the shaft and I don't want to strip it out. Bad timing since Dunefest in oregon is two weeks away. Thanks for the help in advance.
  10. where are you located....I might be interested
  11. This is why democrats should not be in charge. There is a post a while ago over at dunercentral.com. It has all the maps and information and the survey results. It does include winchester bay, coos bay and florence. The member that set it up is really leading the way to keep us informed. It is under the Oregon section of that website.
  12. It all depends on your style of riding and where you ride at. I personally run 12 paddle bead to bead extremes on my 472 supercub. However depending on where you live the sand is dryer than in other places. It is pretty heavy here in oregon where as if you ride glamis it is dryer if that makes any sense.
  13. Here are some pics of my sons new banshee. We are getting to tear off the stock pipes and replace with some FMF as well as some other mods.
  14. I wish I would have read this. I bought a set of FMF pipes and they are not rusted have some black spots on the chrome. It is not rust as I have used polish and a crap ton of elbow grease and it is coming off slowly...going to try the steel wool and sos pad next. thanks.
  15. If you just want to freshen up and make the bike a little more responsive, I would advance the timing a little, the cool head allows the motor to run at a lower temp due to the flow of the antifreeze. Depending on your elevation you can go with a 21cc dome (stock is 22cc). NOSSmachine had a breakdown of the dome sizes and compression. Remember if you go to high on the compression you will have to run race gas.
  16. It all comes down to what compression you want to run. The lower the CC number the higher compression your motor will be. There is a chart on NOSSmachine.com that breaks down the dome sizes and compression ratios.
  17. I am looking for a used in good condition Modquad or Noss cool head for a stock cylinder banshee. I am also looking for a set of 22cc domes for that same style of head. I already have the acorn nuts and new seal kit. I bought one off of CL and it had a dent so you couldn't get the seal in. Thanks.
  18. Brand new cam is $180 my loss is your gain. It is brand new in box ready to install. Offers?
