  1. I went with a plus 4 for the past 8 or 9 glamis seasons and enjoyed it however i did miss the maneuverability. I used to drag up olds and comp back in the day and keeping that front end down is KEY. I am going back to plus 1 this season with a swing arm I just picked up from ASR today via Ebay. I plan on someday doing some type of Baja 250 or BITD short Race  so having a plus 4 is not good. Plus the duning will be much funner with a swingarm i can whip around.
  2. Its the ASR Oval Tube Chromoly Racing Swing-Arm (swing arm only) http://www.amstarmanufacturing.com/Swingarms.html vs. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Yamaha-Bans...emZ200265156788
  3. I can not understand why a swingarm off ebay will cost only 150 bucks or so vs. a swingarm from ASR that runs around 500 bucks. Please explain?
  4. Thanks 8) I am very thankful for all your input. I have spoken with works and Elka. Elka is recommending Dune Edition shocks with the shock and linkage in the rear. Works is recommending Black Widow Fronts and the Ultra Pro G4 rear. Elka out the door 3 shocks and linkage 2100 with shock covers/Works shocks front and rear 1995. What do I do !?!?!??! The only advantage I see is works is just down the street and Elka is in Canada.
  5. Hey Tim, How does that rear shock setup with linkage from Elka compare to a Works Rear shock with stock Dogbone? Thanks for all the feedback!
  6. Thanks for the quick response Mike, I want to spend around a grand or less for the front shocks. The style of riding I mostly do is duning and we will be heading up to San Felipe this spring to do some riding on the Baja trails. The motor needs a refreshing I had the guys from CT racing port my banshee 7 seasons ago and it still runs great.
  7. I just purchased +2 +1 ASR A Arms and am in the market for a shock that would work well for both the Sand Dunes of Glamis and the Trails of Baja. I dont like tweaking stuff too much however I do need a shock that will compliment both scenarios any suggestions? I also have a +4 swingarm that I want to shorten due to the fact that I want to have more maneuverability on turns, would a +2 suit me better in the desert and the dunes?
