I got some Brand New never mounted never ran CPI small bore small flange left side drag pipes never even out of the box with all hardware. I paid $600 shipped for these a couple of weeks ago. Do you guys media blast the inside of the cases? If so, has anyone had any problems with the bearing journals(clearances, scratches) and sealing the cases back up? I'm taking my powder coater my cases tonight and he wanted to know how good he has to tape them off.

Just to clear up your misconception about lower octane fuel. The lower octane a certain fuel has the lower the flash point it will have which in turn causing it to burn faster and hotter. So the higher octane you run the harder it is to burn which is why you can run more compression and timing. But all things being equal the lowest octane you can run in ANY motor without having detonation/preignition/pinging the more power you will make and the smoother it will run. So running really high octane fuel in a motor that doesn't need it is actually robbing it of power and efficiency.

I just picked up a used trinity motor with the stage 4 head and stage 3 jugs. My domes have 18cc and 420 etched into them so you will be able to know what they are :thumbsup: . But the thing that blows my mind is that the jugs are resleeved and bored out to 69mm.
