I would highly recommend the 421 Cheetah powervalve setup. All the midrange you would need. Also a more popular setup

You can get fair gains out of your motor by widening the exhaust and transfer ports. Just don't grind on the floor or ceiling of the ports because you will affect the timing. You can also smooth out all the rough cast marks and add a semi-sharp front edge to the intake bridge. Also polish the EXHAUST port (only) the best you can. Don't forget to chamfer any sharp edges on the I.D. of the cylinder bore. I believe everyone will agree that this will give you some decent gains for cheap.

I'm sorr they are 20" paddles on 10" rims..I had them on my RB Racing ported Blaster with stock carb and believe me when I tell you 7 paddle haulers are perfect for the Blaster...2nd gear starts, simply smoked other blasters with 8 or 9 paddles...

Yeah I tried to do a drag style takeoff and she wouldn't shift for crap! I'd have to let off the throttle for probably 1 whole second to shift, and I'm already fixin to drop about $2000, trying to avoud that extra 350 bucks if I can help it...Not trying to be the fastest just whoop up on all the fast 4 pokes..

My advice to you is send your jugs off to get ported. RB Racing did my buddy's banshee and it was way faster than any piped production quad. Way faster. Less than half the price of a cub, stock carbs, stock crank. Good luck with your build.

Ok I have a set of Trinity Stage IV big Bore small flange pipes with silencers. Have a couple of small dents that are not noticeable once installed. By the way, I cannot access my old account (Sloryder) for some reason, that's why my post count is so low.
