THE RZ 350 AND BANSHEE SHIFT FORKS ARE THE SAME DESIGN. I USE THEM IN MY ATV ASPHALT DRAGGER. WHEN I CAN FIND THEM. THE RZ 350 FORKS ARE LITTLE STRONGER THAN THE BANSHEE FORKS. THE RZ 350 CYLINDERS AND HEAD DO ALOT MORE WATER. WATER JACKETS ARE BIGGER. RZ 350 AND BANSHEE CASES ARE THE SAME. THE EARLY BANSHEE DID COME WITH THE HOLE IN THE TOP BACK CASE FOR A TACH.

i need some tires for trail riding and for the street
ATVdragger replied to gabybanshee's topic in Drag Forum
If your going to do asphalt drag racing at a dragstrip. Some tracks don't like us using dirt tires. It tears up the track. Use American Racers or Hoosiers tires to drag race. They are alot lighter than dirt tires. 20/8/10GT in American Racer weigh 10lbs. NHRA and IHRA has a rule that we need tires that are setup asphalt drag racing. -

Thats right. I did get kicked off ziggy's site.. I guest you don't care about growing a sport that we all love.. Someone or a company helps better the sport. Than someone posts the info on the site for everyone to see. But then there's guys like some of you like bashing them on the site.. Has for someone not backing up there product.. Robinson backs up his tranny's 100%.. Robinson has been building tranny's for the fastest drag bikers around the world for 31 years.. Now he's helping the atv asphalt draggers go faster and have a tranny that out performs the stock tranny. Some of you guys need to stop bashing and crying... Do something to help grow the sport you love..

If you have a small stroker motor and want better ET times than what a stock cut tranny is doing for you and hate spending money on replacing bad gears, shafts and shift forks.. The new billet tranny is the way to go.. With a lower first gear, different ratio's on 3rd,4th and lower 6th gear. You get faster ET times and the billet tranny will last for years to come.. Think about it.. Add up everytime you replace gears or shafts and still run a tranny that is built for moto-x, not drag racing. Buy a billet tranny that is setup for drag racing and pull faster ET times. Plus never replace gears and shafts.. I love running my 392cc stock stroke Titan Racing Cub with the billet 6 speed tranny. My 60ft times are in 1.20's. In the 1/4 mile 9.90's. In time, those times will be faster yet.. With stock cut 6 speed. 60ft in 1.40's. Best 1/4 mile 10.30's I'm also running a billet 6 speed in my 710cc 20mm DM.. Pulling 1.10's 60ft times.. Plus pulling some crazy 1/8 and 1/4 mile times too..

Hey, Stroking. Tell your friend to get some American Racer with 63" rollout and that will help alot. Those 18" have a too small of a rollout. Thats slowing him down alot.

Octane under 98 is good for motors that have under 165 psi per cylinder. Those days we have to be careful on the pump gas we buy. We don't get what it says on the pump for octane.. The race gas that you can buy from a pump at a gas station is never the octane that is marked on the pump. If race gas is vented all the time. The octane numbers go down alot b/c a high grade of fuels.... All gas stations tanks are vented..

Cant find neutral while running! how to fix?
ATVdragger replied to lt1bird's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
Never use a star that have rounded points. This will cause over shifting. Go to far. Also using the lighter spring from Shift Pro will cause problems too. You have it in neutral, then your rev up the motor. It will jump into a gear. Plus doing wheelies. If you come down too hard. It will pop into a different gear and maybe destroy the tranny.. It will also do the same from a jump too. Use the stock spring with Shift Pro bearing arm. The shift shaft does go bad. Yamaha has updated the shift shafts.. I use the Shift Pro bearing arm in my 10 second 1/4 mile drag Banshee. If you want to win races. Be careful want you use.. I have been working, riding and racing Banshee since 1986. So I have seen it all.. -
Run it.. Having clear bubbles is normal. Unless they are white in color. That means you have water in the tranny oil.
-
The two hooks. Bend them out some. This helps hook the pins closer to the shift drum. Never round off the points on the shift star.. Or it can cause it to shift too far..

The 6 speed is for atv asphalt draggers. 1/8 mile and 1/4 mile. Also be great for the 500ft dirt drags Never use a 6 speed for 300ft sand or dirt drags. Stock trannies don't shift smooth in between the gears. Always 300 to 400 rpm drop between into gear. The billet 6 speed don't have the huge rpm drops.. Always smooth rpm powerband all the time.
-
Robinson is now offering a full billet 6 speed transmission for the Banshee.. It comes with a lower first gear. It also comes with a billet shift drum. Stock Trans 1- 2.46 2- 1.812 3- 1.50 4- 1.25 5- 1.045 6- .875 Billet Trans 1- 2.583 2- 1.812 (stock) 3- 1.42 4- 1.20 5- 1.045 (stock) 6- .956 With the different ratio's. There won't be too many RPM drops between each gear. You will knock 3-5 tenths off your E.T time. Also your 60ft times will be faster too. Click here to contact Robinson
