  1. oh I also forgot to add that I have noticed that since this has been happening, one of my carbs have been dripping. My dad said it sounds like the carbs need to be rebuilt. Could that be where the popping is comming from?
  2. so what you are saying is that I should move my needle up 2 sizes?
  3. Alright, I will check the wires. I haven't had my flywheel off, so that should knock that one off. Anyway to test the stator?
  4. Looking to get about 95 out of it plus the ride.
  5. Ok, I had some issues and posted them on a previous topic I had. I believe that everything else has been taken care of. I still have the popping though. I ready someone elses topic about it sputtering and stuff and someone mentioned that it could be the stator. See I believe that my jetting is fine, after we rebuilt it, no popping or anything, then after a couple hours riding time, it starts popping. We are talking about 6-8 hours on the rebuild, it was running like a champ, other than loosing coolant, which is fixed now I do believe. So I got my impeller in and rode it up and down the road a couple of times and thought yay its fixed, because i used the sight on the carbs to get them synced pretty well. So I went to go ride, and I hit the old train tracks thats been torn out where people ride to get from place to place. I go there, hit some roads, and it starts popping. I think what the hell. So basically its fine, but it seems like after it gets "warmed up" then it starts popping and bogging like, like you let off the gas and it wants to die. What could this be?
  6. anyone else? He no longer wants it.
  7. Drained all of my gas, added new gas, and still popping. This is so frustrating!!!! I'm going to see about getting my kill switch fixed and doing a plug chop. Anything else that I can do?
  8. Southern Illinois.
  9. well if they guy doesn't want to trade his nerfs for my ipod then i could throw in an ipod possibly.
  10. Ok, I got my impeller in, and It fixed my water problem. It is still popping, it seemed like it was fine, but after I rode it a bit and actually started getting into the power band then It started popping, and didn't want to run right. Whenever it was time to idle, it seemed like it wanted to die. I got my sync tool, but I don't know how to get the stock airbox off, I cant figure it out. But still, they should be sync'd pretty close. I also noticed, that the tube that comes out of the carb, and the screw you loosen that drains it, that hose is leaking out some gas. Also, I might have got some bad gas, and I am going to try some new gas. Thanks for all of the help guys, im 17 and im pretty much doing all the maintance on it myself, and I really appreciate it.
  11. interested in trading anything for the a-arms, and could I have some pics?
  12. why do you say that?

  15. Could I see some more pictures of them? I might be interested in those, my quad is blue, I think they would look bad on there.
  16. yeah, is it not a good thing to get?

  18. i might give some cash with it, depending on what it is? or first one that gives me 100 for it. comes with a white silicone case, and another holister type case. Comes with usb cord 2 cases, and ipod. ipod is white, normal scratches, pretty good condition for an ipod.
  19. they kind of look like the same I have which is dyno port
  20. Alright, I will do that once i get it back together. But one problem. I have no kill switch. And im gonna burn the fuck out of my hand whenever I change the plugs.
  21. I wasn't going to do anything until i got them syncd first. I believe that Is my problem, because I did some adjusting by sight, i ran it down the road, and it seemed like it was alot better than what it was. How do you do a plug chop?
  22. no, not the stock ones. And if the wires have been cut, then no.
  23. I took a look at my slides, and they have the cutout facing the rear of the quad. I do know that when I adjusted my carbs by the little eyelette on the carbs and you match the little black piece, it seem like it ran alot better, and i know its still not perfect. So I am hoping that it takes care of that when I sync it. Is there anything else that I can check? Should I do a pressure test on the banshee? Also, another question, I bought the clamp on outerwears k&n air filters for stock carbs, that eliminate the airbox, will I have to rejet with those?
  24. got the carb sync tool, so no longer need that...anyone want it?
