Me and a bud are wanting to take our shees to the track by our houses, ive heard that hoosiers flat track tires are good for pavement pounding. Any street draggers out there what are you running?-Dan

Felt like a deuch so i went and bought the clymers.lol. Thanks guys. im picking up the jets tomorrow and installing them rigth after that then puttig the pods on. When i do that im also going to adjust my floats a tand since they do tend to stick every now and then. do i bend them up or down to compinsate for the dripping?

so do you air it up or something???? Seems to me that even for drag motors you still want to keep this area super dry

kn, now i am a newb. The main jet is the one that is attached to the throttle cable right. the one that is in the middle of the carb. Dumb question i know. Also when i put the new jets in, whats the best way to adjust it???

i replaced the stock ones with those that i got from the quad shop

Got the head on today. Looks great, Def has alittle more goose to it. Still need to get my pods on it, then jet it right. Pickn up all my goodies next week.SCORE. Put my new fuel lines on. Re routed them so they werent going to singe like the old ones did. Re-flushed my coolant system and am going to put in the ice tomorrow. Also put new plugs in and drained all fuel out, gave the engine some fresh mix. Tell me what you guys think-Dan

Ok so im adding the head that bansheedan milled down to .035. Removed my rad hoses and drained then flushed the coolant since im switching to ice, then removed the head. I was surprised at how clean it is, but the pistons....you tell me. Plugs arent foulled, and the sleeves are nice and smooth, no scratches, dings, nicks, nothing. Tell me if this is good bad or normal.
Left
Right
Head that came off motor
pulled pump cover and fins are good, no cracks. reinstalled with locktight instant gasket
if this all goes good im going to post up a how to on installing/ removing head to coolhead-maybe
