  1. yea, i hear ya.. i do believe that people generally gravitate towards the lower prices, even though they arent thinking about a slightly higher price they may pay through a builder or one of the sponsors coming with the extra tech support.. however, i would encourage everyone that is buying parts to at least give one of the sponsors a chance to meet a lower price or at least come down on it some. they may tell you to fuck off, or they might work with you. you never know. i am in no way saying that this would for sure happen, but it cant hurt.

No doubt. The tech support is because they care, not because they want more customers. All I was saying is people don't HAVE to go with a site sponsor, but 9 times out of 10 they want to.

  2. Nobody said this site isn't full of good advice and you can't really tell people where to shop either. I know every sponsor on here doesn't care where people shop, but they know there work and customer service will speak for itself. They all expect competition. That wasn't pointed at anyone either, but im just saying.

If I get 28's im calling a builder so he can jet them for me and walk me through jetting if I have any questions. But, if I already new exactly what jets I needed and saw them for 50 dollars cheaper somewhere, I might consider getting them for 50 dollars less. Thats just business though, right?

  3. If you post on here what do you think, be prepared for positive and negative comments.

Not to mention, you yourself say you'll never pay 400 bucks to do something like this for your bike, but yet you are asking others to do just that? (Like I said, 225 for the work, easily 50 to 75 shipping each way, possibly more).

You're not doing yourself any favors.

Not to mention, if you were selling something off the shelf that was yours, you'd be fine.

But you're advertising yourself as a business...so why don't you plop down the cash and become a site sponsor if you think your product is so innovative?

Otherwise....Craigslist is free. Advertising here is not.

Well said. You said fuck the hq and that were haters, but I bet the majority of these site sponsors wouldn't make nearly as much business on similar forums. The hq is where people come when they want the best info, tech help, and products. So when the majority of people don't like the product thats cool. People might think its cooler on the blaster forum, but how many of those kids will come through and pay for a product/service? Another thing that cought my eye was how you said you get this done for "pennies on the dollar"....if so then why charge 225? Really not trying to hate, but it is what it is. Sorry to ramble

  4. Yea your guides aren't lying. Mtv calls me 2 fucking days ago and tells me there going to reschedule it. I had called 20 people that I told telling them to not be waiting for it to come on and it slipped my mind not to write it on here. Sorry I forgot to update you guys. I know I look like a jackass saying its gonna be on then saying it isn't, but I am really at there mercy. Well, i'll just put it this way, mtv doesn't give a shit about me.(atleast I said that from the beginning) Lol. With that said, i'll update you guys on when it really is going to air. Sorry for the inconvenience.

  5. Probably just make my own for less than $20.

    Good luck with that.

"I sure as hell wouldnt take it to someone and pay to have it done, or shipped to have them done either. But thats me, im a tight ass with my money, and im a do it your selfer, Ill never pay anyone to do anything to my bike". You would sure as hell never pay someone to do something like this, but you think people might send some to you? I know you were just throwing the service out there, but still.

  6. I think those look pretty cool, I ride woods so being able to use a low pressure power washer instead of a hose would be nice.

If your looking for a real lockout cover and all you need to install alf on here can hook you up. He does chrome polishing and is a site sponsor so he can get you a pretty good deal on one. They cost around 400 and come in different colors. I've been looking into them as well. He also sells modquad parts so can get you some things cheaper here and there. He actually had a deal a month or so ago and coulda sold one for 300. I definately think they look badass.

  7. Get a clymers manual off ebay as soon as you can. For now though, go to babbittsonline.com type in your model banshee and all that then look at the clutch assembly and all that to make sure you have all the parts you need and you can start using the names of real parts so we can help you diagnose your problem A LOT FASTER.

  8. so was he ever on the show or no

Reading threads is over rated. Yea they came but scratch the monday part dec 1st is actually a tuesday. 6pm. I bought a bhq banner, got a shirt, and got 2 shirts from alf but I couldn't wear them or rep the banner because of stupid reasons regarding permission from each and every site sponser. I already got into with the producer a while ago and tried to explain it the best I could before. Pretty much (for instance) if loco didn't give me and mtv signed paperwork saying I could represent the site then he could of sued them. I know he and the other site sponsers wouldn't do that but the producer didn't want to give me the time of day to try and work it all out. Someone flipped there utility quad in my woods so the riding might be a short clip, hopefully atleast a minute or so, but the episode itself should be about 7 minutes. Thanks to everyone whos interested.

  9. yeah i plan on making it more mid-top end. will vf3 fit any size carb i get?

Yea, the reeds sit in the intake of the cylinder, then the boots, then the carbs. The reeds are all the same size unless its an aftermarket cylinder but there still usually the same. If your looking for vf3's hit me up because i'm trying to get rid of mine for something with low-mid tension reeds.

  10. yeah when i bought my pipes from the guy he sent out the jets i need for the pipes i bought. but i started it up and ran great so i didn tthink i would have to mess with it, thank you for that info. also i want more mid to top end so i dont want a 2 into 1 carb. and besides trails i just mess around and drag in fields and what not so i dont want XC type banshee just something that will be sick all round. but i dont do much sand riding so i dont need that. any more suggestions, but new jets will be on in a day

I have an aggressive trail port, ptr mids, plus 4 timing, 2-1 carb, and 22cc domes and I have no complaints other than the vf3's im still running. Even though vf3's seem to be the best all around there really best for mid to top end. The way I look at it is where I ride I rarely have the opportunity to go over 50mph, but I get there fast. So if your looking for something that you can just ride in the trails occasionaly you should aim more for mid-top rather than aim towards low end, because when you get a lot of lowend you usually lose a lot of top end.

  11. If you plan on making it into a trail quad you'll have to ditch the pipes, put on those 22cc domes you said you had just make sure there for the same head, and if it has reeds there probably vf3's so you'd have to swap those out for reeds with better low-mid power. What kind of carbs does it have on it? Also those cpi's are worth more than your average pipe just so you know.

  12. If you have a grinder and a dremel, you can mod your own shaft and star. If your going to weld a stock crank, first make sure your rod bearings are nice and tight. No sense in welding a crank that is close to worn out. About your stator, are you saying that you just got rid of the plugs and spliced them together? If thats the case, it should work ok, but when you need to take the motor out of the bike, you will have to cut them again. You could get some male and female connectors (good ones), and put them on instead.

I kept the plug but had to splice the wires because my new stator wasn't long enough and I couldn't get the wires out of the connector/plug. So I just used my old stator wires and spliced them so I had more wire to work with. Also if anyone sent out there bottom end for mods or has a ballpark estimate on what'd it cost i'd appreciate it. I don't plan on splitting the cases myself.

  13. I recently just bought a used stator for my banshee since my old one stopped working and I had to splice 6 wires. I was wondering what the easiest/most reliable and affordable thing to do is because I know i'm gonna have a problem in the near future if I don't fix it. I couldn't get the plug cap off without breaking the wire so I just spliced them. Also I'm considering sending my bottom end to kevin herr or fast for some shift mods and crank welding. I was wondering if anyone had a rough estimate of what it would cost to send my bottom end from VA to CA, have some shift mods done, and get my crank welded. Obviously if any bearings or seals needed to be replaced I'd do that now as well. I'd call the builder myself but I know there busy right now and am just now starting to consider sending it out. Also if you have any opinions on what I should have done please let me know.

  14. When all said and done you had good fun right?

To hell what some of these douchefags have to say!

    Cool pics!!

Oh hell yea, I had a great time. Never had all my friends over...or at least that many at once. Afterward we had a big cookout and bonfire. Didn't sleep that night...finally catching up on sleep lol. Thanks for all the comments guys.
