I just picked up some 28mm PWK's and was just looking for a base line to start out at. I did read threw the (what mains are you running thread) and came up with some specs for sea level witch will help me when I ride at the coast but I also ride at 3500' so I need to know ware I should start out at. Bike Dune Port Stock Stroke 65mm Bore T5's +4 Timing Cool Head 20cc Domes 28mm PWK's K&N Pods Elevation 3500' Carbs came with 140 Mains 58 Pilots JJH Needles Sound like the 140's might be ok but the 58 pilots sound way rich for 3500'

would you sell the 19cc domes

Got T3's on the bike right now and found a pretty cheap set of T4's. Would it make much difference to change to the T4's. Bike is dune ported, cool head 20cc domes, and pods.

Got the bike all back togather and when ideling the left side pops and that pipe doesnt seem to get as warm. I went threw the carb and everything looked good so I even swaped the left carb from my other banshee and it does the same thing. Elevation is 3400' Main jet is 300 Pilot jet 30 Air screw 1.5 +4 timing

Do I torque a noss head down to 20 ft lbs like a stocker

Well not exactly sure on haveing the head shaved made up fot the porting was just saying that if the comp went down a little from the porting maybee the head would have taken care of a little of that. I don't know the durations it is supposed to be a dune, play port.

Ring end gap was good. My elevation is 3600. Also the head has been shaved .20 so I should have made up for loosing any from the porting. I'll see if I can round up another gauge and try that.

Just got bike back together, I had sent my cylinders to cascade innovations and got them ported and rehoned so I threw a new set of rings in there. Right after rebuild before I even fired it I had 105 lbs of compression. I went ahead and did three heat cycles and ran it down the road once. Now it only has 95 lbs. Also the head has been shaved .20 WTF is going on here I swear this bike has a curse.

Yes have the right puller. Guess I'll have to put some PB blaster in it over night. Should I set the bike on its side so it can work down in.

I'm at a loss, cant get the flywheel to budge. Tried heat and a few light taps on the pulled with no luck. Is there any other tricks.

Mods are t3's .40 over, 65mm bore Stock carbs with K&N pods Dune port Toomey needles +4 timing Elevation is sea level to 500' Thanks
