  3. nevermind again after searching the forum for a hour and a half i found that there just vent hoses
  4. like i said i'n new to the banshee world so i apologize for all the help i'm asking for,but i have another question hopefuly someone can help me with. when you take the water pump cover off there is a hose that comes out of the crank area now what i need to know is does this hose connect to the back of the engine case? attached is a pic of the diagram in the clymers maual so you can see what i'm talking about look at the number 15 hose and what it connects to is this where the hose connects to that come out from behind the water pump cover? and where does the number 14 hose connect to? (sorry for the pic quality) if you have a manual it's on page 124 for a better look,any help would greatly appreciated
  5. i bought the 2 into 1 setup off a guy on here it has ports on the intake for nitrous so i'm thinking the needle is after market as far as it smoking it went away but it took a few minutes to clean it,i put the needle in the number 3 spot and adjusted the pilot air screw out 1.5 turns ,adjusted the idle bike seemed to run ok except for the leak and a loss of power in a higher gear
  6. the needle say's 28v on it and it was sitting on the number 2 spot . so i was looking for leaks today and came across an oil leak at the bottom of the clutch case cover/water pump cover could this cause the right side to blow white smoke? also i had a hard time starting the bike today it would start then die out, so i was checking out the setup and noticed the carb was ice cold like i had put it in the freezer, so i took the cap off and there was this white pasty lookin shit at the bottom of the slide does anyone know what this could be and why my carb got so cold? :shrug: here is a pic of where the oil is coming out (don't mind the quality took with cell)
  7. i just got done surfing the 138 threads in this section cause i figure that i'm definitly not the only one who had this question and came across some pretty useful info that i can use. right now i have my pilot air screw out 2 full turns so tomorrow i'll play around with that and the idle and check over the bike for an air leak and see where that leaves me. i tell ya this is my first two stroke and i absolutley love it, I'M HOOKED
  8. i apologize for the noobness but all this stuff is very new to me. do you mean the needle jet or the main jet? and if you need to know i'm about 500ft above sea level. thanks in advance for the info :biggrin:
  9. i just installed a 2into 1 set up with a 34mm kehin carb the guy i bought it from said it has a 185 jet in it now my question to you guys is when i give it throttle it bogs before it kicks in even when i switch in to second or third it bogs before it kicks in should i reposition the needle jet or maybe it's something else? can anyone point me in the right direction

  12. picture 2 shows where i placed the new roller on the frame and pic 1 is the bracket where the other roller is located in the bottom hole and the top hole is empty is that hole where the roller is supposed to be? or is the 2nd pic right?
  13. i was just wondering if anyone had a pic of there chain roller assembly? i ask because i think i'm missing a roller and can't seem to find anything about it in my clymers manual

  16. yes i still have the tors but they are not hooked up that's how i got the bike,as far as the stator goes i'll test it again just to make sure.
  17. my bike wasn't getting spark so i tested everything turned out to be my coil,replaced the coil and everything was fine so i took the bike out rode it for about half an hour then it died again, took out a plug to see if i was getting spark and nothing, let it sit for a few minutes and then tried it again it fired up for a second and died again did this a few times and now nothing,CAN ANYONE HELP?

  20. doesn't seem like it's getting spark it's deffinitly getting fuel i 've changed the plugs and even pulled the plug and tried to get it to ark out on the cylinder head bolt but did not see any spark, is it possible that the coil went? should i change it and see if that works,what about the cdi box could that be my problem
  21. what's up guy's, new to the forum and i just recently purchased a 2001 banshee been a visitor here before but now that i own one figured i would join the site.i was wondering if some one could help me i was out riding today and out of nowhere the shee stalled out on me and now won't start back up, i changed the plugs thinking that maybe i fouled one but it still wouldn't start can anyone maybe point me in the right direction on how to figure out what went wrong
