im gonna tell him to get a clean title in his hands and ill give him the $ then. How much is a frame with clean title? Should i give him $750 for the bike and trailer and then swap the frame? I know he rebuilt the bike ast year and got the toomey's. Is that worth it?

Just spoke to him again. He's willing to take a deposit until the title comes in. He also has all the paper work for the trailer and is gonna give me all that. I just gotta re do the lights on the trailer which is nothin. He said give him a 200 deposit and i can take the bike and trailer this weekend. He's gettin rid of his garage so he needs it out asap. He crashed his truck like 2 mnths ago ane bought an impala. He also has a raptor he's getting rid of.

It's a mechanical lien, not a bank. I know the bike is legit. Hes telling me to give him half if want the bike and work on getting the title, if i cant get the title he'll give me the money back. I can always just get another frame for it though. I know its not a stolen bike or reported stolen. I think its a steal though. The mechanic shop is no longer there. Thats y he cant find the lien holder.

Thanks For the Response guys. I know the guy thats selling it to me for a few years now. He's also throwing in a 2 bike trailer in the deal. He told me to give him half the funds now and the other half when i get the title. I can b an asshole and say i wasnt able to get it and use that money for another clean frame. But the guy is actually a cool legit guy so I'm gonna do the right thing. Worse case scenario, how much am I looking at for a frame and the labor to swap it?

A friend of mine has a 1996 Banshee that he is selling me for $1500 but it has a lien on it. He has been trieng to track down the person that is holding the lien but can't get a hold of the person. He's nowhere to b found. How can i get rid of this lien if i purchase it? Or should I not bother? I know he rebuilt the engine last year and put some toomey's on it. The quad is so clean. HELP!!!!! LOL, my banshee is stock, I need everything.... I have nerf bars, grab bar. But as far as engine, its full stock. I have an exhaust coming in like 3 weeks, so i just got some stock stuff to hold me over. Anything engine would be good. Maybe some V force reeds or adjustable case
