Sounds to me more like an ignition issue, I had a similar problem when I shortened the wiring harness using a Dyna, the park brake wire wasn't grounded, it fired every time it was kicked, but wouldn't stay running. Don't know if this has anything to do with the issue you're having, just sounded like the problem I had.

There was a company in Chatsworth Calif. called Goki Manufacturing that made starter kits for ATV's, I don't think they made one specifically for the Banshee, but maybe you could adapt one from another model.

18mm billet crank, purchased from WKR about a year ago, 72mm brgs, approximately 45 minutes total run time. Hydraulic-ed the left cylinder and tweaked the rod. Polished Cheetah DM cylinder, 78 mm bore, bought new last year, about 45 minutes total run time. Hydraulic-ed left side, pin brg came apart and did some damage as seen in pictures. Right side cylinder and piston still like new.
