Can't wait for the ice!! My bike is undergoing a frame up make over right now. Will be done soon!
  4. I made a tool today, works pretty good, still would like to find the right tool.
  5. These ball joints are threaded in, No retainer clips
  6. Anybody know where to pick up a ball joint socket tool for roll design a-arms. Or any ideas what else i could use?? I'm sending these lobo arms out to get coated but need to get these ball joints out first. Thanks for he help! cj
  7. Are these Rocket pipes good low to mid pipes?
  8. Here is a little more info, There is another hose routing on lf side into the rear or the cylinder. He must make another cooling port.
  9. Maybe loboboy can chime in here, Stallworth does some crazy stuff. I guess all the new yzf yamaha's cool this way now. I hope someone has more info than i?
  10. Has anyone here ever seen a banshee with reverse cooling? JSR produced (i thing about 8 or 9 of these motors) These motors claim an extra 7-9 hp over convensional banshee cooling!
  11. Sorry had no responce here so it on ebay now, ending in 3hrs thanks
  12. There is no problem here, But there is a reason why thumpers are prefered on a short track - more torq less wheel spin and so on. Its not easy setting a banshee motor up to run short track against a 60 -65hp 450. Don't get me wrong, My non ported shee still kicks a$$ against most of the pro class with my chassis set-up We race short tracks hence the name, top speed around 40-50mph very tight corners short straights! bike is set up great just need some power, and try to control that violent wheel spin!
  13. That is the number on the motor above the shifter on the case
  14. tried that first no avail!! any other sugestions?
  15. Sorry looking for the year of this motor???
  16. Hello up 4 sale is a complete motor assy this motor is ready to run and very clean! no carbs or intake everything else is ready to go! I think this motor is around 2001. This motor was just bored .010 with new piston & rings about 8-10 hrs on it! I bought this motor as a spare but never used it. Located in sturbridge mass pm me if interested! thanks 650.00
  17. Hello i cant seen to find this motor number if anybody knows please share thanks cj 2gu-004867
  18. Thanks for the input guys, Jim is one of the builders i had talked 2 seems 2 know his s&!$
  19. Ok so whats the positive of stroking a short track motor over a stock stoke motor, its like 1000.00 dollars more to build will you notice a difference in power? More torq? pull harder?
  20. I agree on the dune port, not so sure thats what i need! I would like to get this project rolling just need button down my combo and builder
  21. Back in the day before the old 450's came around who was building all the top riders banshee tt motors? I here stallworth has built some pretty nasty WINNING proven motors. How about duncans technology they just won pikes peak 09 on there banshee do these guys have a leg up on the rest????
  22. Thanks lobo, I agree on the rider & gearing, my set up now always does very well against the competition i'm always running top 3-4 with a piped banshee and a good chassis setup!! Now i'm not running with farr, ogden and little 4 sure but there is some 450's with 500cc's that can run! Does it mean the higher you stroke your bike the more low end you will produce or the other way around? I see alot of 4mils around. and a few 7mils I think with a healthy powerplant under my seat this bike could be danger
  23. Maybe there's a reason 2 strokes are no longer a player in the mainstream tt short track wars. Or are they? Lots of r&d into these 4 pokes now Is there any tricks left for the banshee? I just can't seem to let go of these bikes!
  24. Hey guys looking for some imput here, I'm in the market to build a mean reliable short track/play motor. We race on smaller flattracks and need the hard pull coming out of the corners to keep up with those big torq 4 pokers. Some say 4mill some say 7mm, Powervalve motors may be out of the buget. What advantage will a stroker give you over a stock bore? Also wondering about what motor builder? 12 port design? maybe another port design? Short track motors are all together different I need smooth usable power from low on up. I race with a couple of high hp banshee's now (80-90)and they dont impress me much! by the time we hit the corner there power is just starting! no good!! and there power is like a switch! very hard to control. Thanks
