  1. ..thats a pretty damn good deal for a stocker.. now u can do all your own stuff and make it the way you want it..and titles are just good to have..good selling point and there just way better than bill of sale IMO
  2. soak em in gas overnight..long as theres nothin the gas wont eat...when i blew my motor i had a full tank of 100 i knew it was gonna just go bad so i dumped it in a pail and used that to clean my cases and cylinders..

  4. hahah my friend has got a 700r limited there nice but i still think they sit to damn high up. I call it a "craptor" he came up with 'banshitty"....some people..lol youll own it though i think just a stock banshee with bolt-ons or mild porting would....JMO
  5. running like this guy did isn't really the anwser. the article said nothin about it being stolen so why run? if seen, you pull over and take your licks and push it home, probably about as far as it will go, I've never and i mean NEVER, been asked for ID when stopped. I also live in vegas and am kinda lucky..i got good neighbors that have known me my whole life and if i'm messin with the shee i just give a heads up and dont do it at night or if theres kids, people will respect you if you do them mostly, but there are a select few that can ruin it in a heartbeat by bein stupid like this guy. he plain just over reacted.

  7. It had 172 mains 50 pilots needle on 4th clip and it was a little lean. i went up 175 mains, to rich then dropped to 45 pilots, to rich.. GRR I hate jetting! someone go put a dyno in my garage when im not looking hahaha
  8. I was thinking about moving the clip im going to try that and then drop down the main to say like 165? or should i go even smaller? i'm just thinkin if i do that with movin the clip and ive already changed the pilot it might be to lean..
  9. so my bike is runnin great on the top end but likes to load up and get real boggy on the lower.. there PWK 28's with 175 mains 45 pilots and my needles are on the fourth clip I just put in the 45's but my friend swears up and down thats to lean but the plugs are wet as hell. any opinions?
  10. I was thinking I should keep it small bore, I just wasn't sure, first motor i've done with cubs. I got FMF fatty's on there now, and they do okay (nothing to compare to) so truthfully i don't know. I havn't got it past break in and jetting is still a bit off (rich). I'm running 28 PWK's also. I know to small for cubs but all funds would allow for now, I didn't know if I should go with bigger carbs or switch the exhaust first, but I think I'm going to leave it be for awhile it runs really strong (thus far) and do the carbs first when i'm itchin for a bit more giddy up. thanks for all the replies
  11. ok, i'm running cheetah cub cylinders that are 65mm bore, no porting, should i be running big bore or small bore pipes? i mean it technically isnt big bore but they are cubs. So im not sure Thanks for any help! Matt
  12. bigger carbs and better pipes are definitely gonna happen i just cant quite afford them yet so i was looking to get the motor running, then worry about them i know 28's are small and the pipes aint big enough either but it is only a 65mm cub but its what i got to do for now so if anyone can just give me a ball park idea id be stoked, i dont want to have to put it in a shop

I'm building a new motor and have some jetting questions i live in las vegas nevada where its hot and dry mostly snd the elevation is two thousand feet heres the motor im builiding hot rods stock stroke crank cheetah cub 65 mm cylinders wiseco 65 mm pistons cool head with 19 cc domes keihin 28mm carbs k and n pod intake filters fmf exhaust now i ran a pretty different set up before so i know my carbs will have to be re jetted anybody have any in-put on what it should be? or even thing i should change in the build up of the motor?
