  1. thanks guys, i think im going to pick those up. $259 brand new, with cable and extra jets, not to bad, thanks again
  2. looking for some flat-slides carbs i have toomeys and pod filters, advanced ign. vf3 so i think anything over 30 would be overkill let me know, plus i want to keep the stock boots. thanks
  3. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/30MM-D-slid...sspagenameZWDVW was wondering if these are kehien carbs or are they knock off no name brands, also if anyone has tried them???? thanks
  4. brand new, never installed, comes with everything, plates, springs, baught for 80 dollars, make an offer.
  5. alright, i put 270 mains in and left the pilots for now, i took off full throttle and got up to 3rd gear, as soon as i pinned the throttle in thrird, it bogged way down, but will run fine half throttle, so i figured i should go up in size on my main maybe 280 or 290, leave the needle clip alone, and go up to maybe 30 or so in my pilots. then try a plug reading. sound about right? the temp today is about 50-60, at sea level, i think i might have this needle thing to an understanding. thanks again
  6. found the jets, there 25's. im getting out of work at 3:30 and going to the parts stroe they said they have a wide range of jets for the banshee, im going to get 280-310 sizes as for pilot jets what size should i get, im going to start at 280, what shouldi look out for? thanks again guys
  7. plug chop? i can rip apart and put it back together, but i dont know much about carbs, and the term that go along.... cant seem to find the pilot jet, not sure where to located it. would 230 jets make sense with my mods without the pods? i ran it like that for a couple years. thanks guys
  8. I just took my carbs apart, and the needle reads, y151, 3rd clip, i pulled the float bowl cover off and found that the jet that is exposed(not sure which one it is) reads 230. im guessing thats the main jet. how would those jets (230) effect my bike, with the mods i have, is it robbing my power, and the mods not working to their full potential? as for the air screws how many turns out should it be. ive also noticed when i took it around the yard, the gas almost seemed like it was sticking, like i would rev it up ands take off, but as soon as i come to a stop, id pull in the clutch and the revs would be high without me touching the gas, and after a few seconds it would die down. hopefully its jet related. and since the cover is already off, some tips on adjusting the float?? thanks
  9. im at sea level, i just got the thing back together, i tore it apart to clean and paint it, ive only ridden it once since the rebuild, and it was only around the yard, couldnt even get out of first. the temp is around here this time of year is 35-50, it ran fine before the rebuild, but i didnt have to uni pods, i had the stock intake, i know that the intake is know letting in a whole lot more air, so with my mods know, what should my recommended setting be at, 310-320 mains?? same needle pos.? as for the air mixture screw im not sure what its at, thanks for replys,
  10. hey hows it goin, im having this problem with my carbs, i read the stickys, and couldnt work it out, my bike will idle find and if i dump the clutch with the throttle half open it takes off fine, but only when i try and take off quietly and slowly does it bog way down, the problem doesnt happen if i pep the gas a little before letting out the clutch, but the bogging still tells me theres somthing wrong, i got toomey pipes(t5) revmax ign. box, vforce3 reeds, stock carbs, uni pod filters, and a boost bottle, i belive the jet kit is a what came with the pipes, it could be either 280 to 300, and the c-clip is on the 3 from top. any help would be great, thanks in advance.
