  4. i guess we have shipping and tax's and it costs around 20-30k to convert to RHD. then licensing/ engineering costs. so it gets up there fast. we get taxed hard here for imported stuff.

  9. By checking resistances on the primary and secondary sides of the coil. And checking the resistance of the ignition side of the stator. Swap CDI's with ya bud, see if that helps. Do you use choke ?
  10. its fine. the tester could be -/+10 out too. what do ya spark plugs look like ? try new plugs. when its running, does it run fine ? check your coil and stator. what other mods, ? just pipes n rejet ?
  11. 200$ piston kit with top end gaskets. 70$ gasket/seal kit 50-100$ true n weld. 150-200$ machine work including stock head provided the crank is good.
  12. pull the cylinders off and take them to a auto/bike machine shop or a bhq sponsor thats close to you. they will tell you what size pistons you need. maybe decide if you want a port job or just give it a rebuild. id split the cases too and get the crank trued and welded. then you can start off fresh with a good engine. prolly be into it for about $600 for a simple rebuild with forged pistons and trued/welded crank with gaskets n seals. you can repair the head or buy a cool head with domes for extra $ split it all, put bolts and parts some where safe, be fucking clean as you can when putting it together. get a clymers manual on the banshee. its all pretty simple.
  13. i was gonna buy the stage 5 elkas, then i thought "what the fuck for" so i got the 3's. my hi speed adjustment is to go faster, and my low speed is to go slower. if you got the cash for stage 5's, shut up and buy them. if not, you probably dont need all that adjustment anyway, or know what to do with it. i had the basic fox floats too and they never lost air.

  15. i ran the q2's but now run the q0's. midrange is better with the q0's stock needle is 5FP17

  17. stage 1,2,3 27. fuck knows what that shit means. there is almost 10 degrees difference in exhaust port timings between the cheetah and serval, and almost 5 degrees in transfer timing. if you port the serval to those specs it becomes a cheetah cub, or ported in between you loss more of one and become more the other. you can port the serval to have more top and lose very little bottom and be a fun cylinder, but thats an expensive cylinder by the time youre done with it. to know how those "stage 2" ported servals will perform, you have to know port timings, i like serval based cylinders coz, if youre not sure where you wanna go, you can always port it into a cheetah cub, tho its an expensive way to go. if youre always in upper gears and wot most of the time, buy a cheetah cub.

  19. heavy fly wheel better for trails, has more inertia to keep the motor turning, light fly wheel better for racing as youre always in high rpm, and lighter reciprocating mass = less load on the motor = free-er motor.
