  1. sure the plate is at +4 and not -4 ? it also, kinda sounds like the clutch is slipping, or it just sounds really lazy. something is up, even with fmf's it should sound sharper.
  2. it does sound pretty flat man, what did the plugs look like ?
  3. Throw away the other one.
  4. chariot, coz it came with a pretty cover.
  5. Yeh good point , the only billets I heard of breaking we're fast, high strung race bikes, and loco's. I don't have a 10mm just a Lil 4mm and that has a hotrods.
  6. I dunno about the billets, on here they seem to snap in half.
  7. nah you cant do that either haha. speak to a builder (one of the sponsors) and see what you can get away with on pump fuel. 421 cub, a pretty much a drag/race cylinder, not intended for down low powers.
  8. 2n1 are pretty poo, nothing beats 2 carbs. theres not much you can do, to that cylinder to give it more bottom end, besides leaving it on race gas with decent amount of compression and timing. t5's arnt optimal for that cylinder either. what size carbs are on it ? throw some pix up.
  9. it will, but all the power will be in the top end, it wont be too awesome to trail ride with. what pipes are on it ?
  10. gotchya, youll switch it all back id shoot for some custom domes, instead of off shelf ones. hit up wildcard racing, a sponsor on here. they did my pump gas 421 domes.
  11. if it has a timing plate, id put it at 0 and start fresh. check it has a stock cdi, to make sure it doesnt have an aftermarket adjustable cdi. what jets are in it now ?, what carbs ? the bike is gonna lose a considerable amount of power, switching to gas. why buy it, to switch to pump ?
  12. If you're at sea level 22-24cc domes will be good for pump gas. A stock head will have to get modded to run 68mm bore and chamber work. Check the ignition timing see if it's not over advanced for race gas.
  13. I will not go to the dunes without paddles. Even on a stock bike, paddles make all the.difference. Paddles won't slide like dirt tyres, but you get used to it. I've never ran dune fronts, people say they make a difference.
  14. coz you cant have a 85hp stock cylinder on pump fuel. even tho stock serval is around 75hp, with a bit of port work, you can gain top end with minimal low end loss, and still run pump fuel.
  15. its a serval with 186/126. it not gonna have much top end. stop expecting a cheetah.
  16. same riding place stock carbs, t5's, dune ported 350. well i think it was dune ported then maybe stock port. http:// this is is def dune ported, but no the same riding place, fast forward to 2:39ish, yeh GNR for sure ! yeh running ported serval with shearers and 34tm;s now. you have a t5 pipe, which lacks over rev and top end power, then add that to a serval which also lacks top end, youre gonna have a bad time haha. even with better pipes are bigger carbs, the stock port serval is alot better. this is the only vid i have a 34tm, shearer non ported serval. i have no vids of the ported serval.
  17. Stock port, stock carbs, t5s.
  18. im running pump at .045" squish.
  19. thats a pretty ugly little bike.
  20. ride it on the street, see what its like, i thought my stock serval was pretty lame. i was not at all in awe.
  21. leak down tester is easy, just use your stock bumper ends to seal off the exhaust flanges with hose clamps. go to the hardware store, buy some pvc pipe and cap ends to suit the pipe (measure your carb flange to find correct size pipe to slide into manifold) go to a tyre joint ask for a rim valve, they will prolly give it to you. get a 3/8 barb to stick into one of the cap ends, and on the other cap end glue/thread the rim valve into it. glue the cap ends to the pipes. then all you need a low pressure gauge, to join to the barb. and use a bike pump to pump air into the motor to 6psi. make sure that fucker holds 6psi over 6 minutes. like this
