yea, the idle kit is good, thumb cramps really bad holding the throttle slightly in to keep her runnung....LOL, yea, you will need the idle kit. Do it yourself, just drill and tap the carbs, there is a killer thread on here about it.

All silencers exept the SSTs, I would go with power core IIs, but any FMF banshee silencers will fit. Try to find some old skool shortys, perfect combo!!!
-
Niether, those are the old skool original FMF Gold Series. No fatty name or SST , just good old Gold Series. I have some just like 'em on my trail 'shee. I think they make better power all the way thru than the Fattys do. Tryed 'em out and traded my T6s for them!!!! They should have some guys signature under the FMF stamp. Keep 'em, good all around pipe.

I have a trail port and FMF original Gold series, WOW!! First ride after I got it back, breaking it in you could just tell it wanted to goooooo. After breaking it in, it broke my arms in. Pulled like a beast!!! have a +2 swinger and ride trails and it still jumps, it's more like point and shoot. Torque is great on a shee, and the 450's I ride with can't touch me. Be sure to get some bigger carbs, shee'll be thirsty!!!!! 33's at least, mine still has PLENTY of torque with 33's.

I cut two rings off my springs and bent the end in a U shape so it won't hang up when you screw your caps back on. Helped a lot. Just stretch them out after you cut them. Also I bought the Terrycable Dual Gasser, bolted right on. I twist when I'm cruising and thumb when I shred. Then twist again when my thumb cramps up. LOL

YAH, One for each side, who'd you get it from?, I'm sure you can call and they'll overnight you another.

Sorry dude, not trying to steal your thread , but I'll be doing a Triple Lindy next week, been down with Deegan and the boys practicing in the pits. Doing it on my 'Shee, waiting on some CRF 50 shocks for the front.......keep ya'll posted.....check back........OK.........

What all did you do to them, I have an old set of Gold Series I would love to look like that!!

No, stock nerfs are not permitted, must have nerfbars, the floorboard rule applys to utility quad racing. Just grab a set Tusk nerfs from Rocky Mountain, $80.00. Alot less than the bill for the broken ankle, knee, or leg!!!!!

Klotz BeNol, 40:1, ran it in my '92 every single tank since it's first ride. No sludge on the pipes, no residue, very little smoke, the wonderful smell of BeNol, the best lubrication next to KY. My .02

also, check the adjustments on top of the carbs, make sure the slides bottom out. sync' em, and you should be good.
-
Check the slides, sounds like a slide is backwards. Or both slides.

I just bought the Terry cable Dual gasser, ride hard with the thumb, cruise back to camp with the twist. Works awsome!!! Just my .02

As far as I know they dont make a anti-vibe clamp for the stock stem.. Probably the closest thing to it will be the Fasst Flexx bars.
'preciate it,
-
I was wondering if anybody knows which brand of aftermarket antivibe bar clamp will fit the stock stem. Need it for my trail shee and don't really want to buy a stem, just the clamp...or would a dampner do the job?? Any help is appreciated. Thanks guys!!!

If you are willing to part this out, how much just for the carbs and throttle cable?

Yea, depending on your mods, altitude etc...probably need smaller mains, check the pilot, maybe start with a 320 main and a 25 pilot, maybe a 27.5 pilot, middle clip position and do a plug chop. Jetting your 'shee is almost free.....wait till the old 450 breaks....you could buy a shee for the repair costs of a 4-stroker
