  1. I'm just trying to get the jetting right... I'm running a 15th front sprocket and the top end just seems flat. First few gears are dead strong but 5th and 6th just feel flat... But it looks to me like it's jetted right at 300 mains. I have banshee carbs hooked up to it. Pro flow filter without the lid, paul turner high revs and a mild port/polish. I dont know why the top end is so flat with a 15 it should be pulling it fine. I will shift 1, 2, 3, then 4th feels a little flatter then 5th than 6th just does not want to rev out. I am 180 pounds so I dont think it's a weight issue or nothing. It should do better than it is but for some reason i think my old banshee motor with SST's was stronger.
  2. Heeeeeeeeey BEN. I decided to go back to school last January... So since then I barely have been out on the ATV. I'm home like 2 days a week and half the time I end up at the cottage so doesn't leave me much time for the ATV anymore. Got one more semester to go in the fall and I'm done with that crap. Then hopefully it's back to buying tons of parts and modifying my Banshee more hehe. Could use a ton of work still. Oh well sooooon
  3. I did, but it never comes up with any results when I type in RZ or RZ Banshee or anything to that effect.
  4. Hey guys, Sorry for posting on something you guys have discussed already, but I can't find the info I'm looking for. This is gonna be a long problem discription I hope some one will read it I have a RZ350 motor thrown in my ATV as some of you may remember. It has Paul Turner Hi-Rev pipes and a proflow air filter with the lid off. I am running the stock banshee carbs. I am running the stock needle height and 300 mains. I am running a 15 tooth front sproket, and a vitos timing advance. I live near Toronto. <EDIT> Oh yeah I also have a mild port/polish. Basicaly just to clean it up </EDIT> I'm not sure if 300 mains are right. I have spent tons of hours playing with the jets on this bike and the top end just seems dead flat. When I run the bike 1-3rd gear feels really strong and snappy. Then as I hit 4-6th I don't know if it's just a huge change in gearing or what but the acceleration takes a big hit. If I lug the motor a bit and snap the throttle, it takes a while for it to rev out. Even if the wheels have broken loose it just seems to take a while to rev. 6th gear is where it feels the flattest. If I hit 6th and I'm holding it white open it feels like the bike should rev more but it's not. It is revving really high but it just doesnt feel the same as when it revs high in the first 3gears the motor just seems different. Also when I run it at 6th gear down the road, say after about 1km or so the heat from the motor starts getting really intense, if I slow down it sounds like the water is boiling. When I pop the plug, the plug looks dry. On the inside of the plug it has a brown, but it gets darker then a bit greyish towards the tip. I assume maybe it's lean? But then again I have run jets that are fatter and the top end just seems to suffer even worse. I can try get a picture of the tip of the plugs if anyone thinks it might help? Thanks for anyone who has read through this hehe
  5. Hey everyone, looong time no see.... Does anyone know how to use the search function properly? I have some time this weekend to go on my RZ Banshee a bit but it needs some tunning... So I was looking for some RZ posts, and I know at one time there were a lot of people putting RZ engines in their banshees and I want to know the jettings specs that everyone is running.
