  2. if youre going to do a 4 mill or cheetah build, i would recommend calling Kevin Herr at HJR, his cub build is cheaper then his 4 mill, but you can also get his 4mill cub build for a few more bucks too, ive got him doing my 4 mill atm, his turn around is quick, and he is super friendly and helpful with all your questions
  3. if i email someone some pics of the bike, can you post them for me please, my firewall at work wont let me upload any
  4. ttt willing to travel guys, im in farmington, but i get a week off at a time for work so i can travel pretty much anywhere

  8. ttt.... still need a swinger, +2 or +4, and a set of carbs 34 or 35mm, and also a set of A-Arms
  9. pics?
  10. i dont need the exhaust anymore, however i will be needing a set of carbs, kevin said the best carbs to run with my set up are the 35mm, but i dont see why 34's wouldn't work just as well, and i dont think i need a motor just yet, let me finish this bike first and ill go from there lol but thanks though
  11. ok i think ive got the frame issue taken care of, now i just need to get a +2 or +4 swinger, and some 35mm carbs....
  12. yeh i havent heard anything bad from him yet, and when youre spending that kind of cash on anything, it makes you feel a little better about it when people give good feedback on whatever youre buying
  13. COD4 live - tangledrelic
  14. ttt
  15. http://herrjugsracing.com/ he has a full list of his mods, and the guy seems cool as hell, had a couple guys recommend him to me, check him out, seems to be a good guy
  16. the full set up, with everything ill need to do it, is going to run me about 1500 bucks, but im buying the bigger carbs from someone on here
  17. thanks for the input guys, unfortunately i work about 100 hours a week, and the new house doesnt have a shop yet, sooo.... im going to be sending it off to kevin and have him build me a 4mill duner, i looked at his sight and talked to a couple of guys about him, and he seems to be a stand up guy as far as his work and service are concerned as far as the swinger and stuff, i have a post in the wanted section of what i need, if anyone can help me out...
  18. ok scratch the motor stuff, im going to just build a new motor, i do however still need a +2or +4 swinger, chrome preferably, maybe an a-arm frame, or some chrome j-arms, and some haulers mounted on chrome or polished rims pm me with what ya got
  19. ok so scratch all the crap from my other post, i just bought a 2000 shee from a guy, and it runs just fine lol.....sooo what i want to do is take the 87' and strip it down to a frame and some cases and start over, im not really tooo concerned with money, but i dont want to be spending 12k to build a dune bike... i want to get a dune port, and probably a 4mill kit or something of the like, i know a lot of you guys have experience with these motors, and i would greatly appreciate the help, if someone could recommend where to start with the motor, i can handle everything else ill need stuff like carbs, bore size, what fuel to run, who to go to, etc etc thanks in advance
  20. it should run better.....no exhaust leak....
  21. still debating on if i want to switch over to a round carrier lol, but ill keep it in mind i really need an exhaust though guys so yeh
  22. how do your cylinders look? how bad are the gouges inside the cylinder walls etc etc. as far as gearing you can go up in the back, should give you a better low end, but a smaller top end, you can also drop a tooth in the front, i used to do it on my sport bikes, for wheelies and what not. as far as your bore... you can safely go .20 over IF your walls dont have like .50 deep gouges in it, honestly, the best thing to do is take it to a machine shop, have them mic the inside walls of the jugs, including the gouges and scrapes and what ever other damage you have in there, and that will tell you how to gauge how big to bore it. replace your crank, i would go with like maybe a stock wiseco crank set up or maybe a hot rods crank, get new pistons, and new rods bearings, connecting pins, etc etc, just google it. You can usually find that stuff on egay, however make sure you are buying genuine parts and not some cheap knock off from japan. just my 2 cents... also get a cool head, theyre cheap and a good upgrade, since your piston seemed to be welded to the other head lol
  23. need an exhaust, pref. t-5's or equivalent, also want billet clutch and stator covers, and water pump as well, and maybe a +4 or so swinger, for an 87', and some v-force reed cages, i might also be looking for a set of 30mm carbs here pretty soon so if you have some of these things, just shoot me a pm... oh and a cool head with 19 or 20 domes
  24. sidi crossfires, the ONLY boot you should buy, hinged ankle, and feels like youre wearing a shoe, these things are a bit pricey, but ive had mine for 3 years now and they're waaaay better then anything else ive worn, including many different styles of tech crapo boots lol
  25. it might have just been bad rings, but i agree, if you have it apart, bore and hone it, and go like 20 over
