I would like to get a new swing arm maybe just a plus 2 nothing more than that. Where do i find a really good but not so expensive one at? I have a few stock ones but would perfer a newer one with better chain adjusters and easier maintance.

Ok i have both frames and the only diffference in the j arm and a arm but is there a huge weight difference? If i was to build on what frame should i go with? (or is that personal thing) I just wanted to know what all you think?

if you are going to get into that you need to get inot fabraction look kid you need to listen to what these guys are telling you there is money in but when its your stuff or the weekend you dont even want to look at a wrench. Now every weekend we are in the grage restoring our cars and the love of it came back. The other thing is when you start buying tools shit you will have a tool payment as big as your new truck or house payment and that can get real exhausting espically when you add them up and there is like thousands of dollars there just sitting in a drawer. if you are looking into some schools look into some tire companies first sometimes they will pay you to go to school and also work there it sucks but i few guys i know have done it that way i think firestone does it they bring you in and actually pay for your schooling.

Hey man dont let all these guys knock techs Before i got a union job i worked in a mechanics shop it did get old but i made alot of cash doing it. The shop i wporked in restored all old rides we did everything from tearing it all the way down to a totall restoration.You half to start from the begining and trust me i worked there for 7 years before i started bolting iron. It is all up toyou and how far you want to go and what you want out of life but ij all in all a head mechanic only makes around 50k a year i think.
