i had a similar issue with a bad coil..and on my other the timing plate broke that holds the pick up coil in place..jus some ideas

i believe the wheels are a polished itp or douglass just a plain style with so so tires

i have a botton end the shift shaft is a little bent but dosent affect the motor

parting my 02 banshee has fmf sst pipes with power core 2 silencers...one head pipe is dented up a bit brand new chain and sprockets set 31-41 never used yellow drag cut plastics with tank and rad cover & custom blk/yellow seat complete motor carbs brakes frame and everything else from a stock banshee make me an offer on any parts u want if using paypal add 3%

if u ever decide to part with it ill deff take those side engine covers

personally if you are semi mechanilly skilled id buy a 1/2 decent compression tester and give that a whirl for the money for a tester i like to be safe...and check over everything every1 else said..id ride it and make sure the tranny is good

any advice on measuring the crank out of the bike?

thats what i was thinkin but when i purchased it off ebay it stated it was a 5mm stroker crankshaft purchased from tdrracking.com for $800.....maybe the seller was uninformed but the 5mm crank on tdr is $800
