  1. yep i also changed the gas. i ride some woods bu mostly open areas on my farm or in sand and gravel pits... what type of mods should i use for these areas and what am i looking for more low or top end?
  2. thansk guys but ya no what i fixed my dual carb problems with one simple phone call to trinity racing... and i ordered the Banshee CV carb. it has a 2 into 1 manifold, a new single carb, jet kit, and a nice heavy duty aluminum mounting bracket. im also going to get some delta 3's off ebay today so i can put em in all at once. i think im going to make this topic into a time line of my bike ... i get some pics up in the next few days so you guys can see what im working with to date.... ohh and i changed the oil and antifreeze to change the anti. i just took the 2 hose's off and let it drain out then flushed it a little put em back on then filled it and kicked it over a few time and toped it off ...is that fine?
  3. you really think the 2 to 1 is much better because i dont like the idea of 2 carbs its just too much all of it and was thinking of getting the 2 to 1?
  4. thanks bellicose, it also has a boost bottle. i took the plastics off and i'm about to change the fluids. and i found out its a 1995. i was woundering peter... are the carb connected in any way? and do i go about taken them off the same as i would a sincle card by just loosening the clamps and what not? thanks eveyone!
  5. yea i found a VIN thread that will help me just to lazy to go out side because i no how cold it is haha about how much was that tune up and what exactly got "tuned up" thanks mate i about to go open the dreded carb now to see what i can fig. out but what i no so far is they are stock and my sea level is a wooping 65 feet haha, do you no how many quarts of oil it takes and gallons of anti frezze? i only ran it for maybe 10mins with the choke on because i dont want it to over heat.

  7. hi everyone i just got my first banshee im not sure of the year yet but i belive its either a 1998 or 1995. its been sitting for a while and it started right up after a few kicks this morning. seems to idel fine but it wount run unless its on half choke...it will idel for a few mins. on no choke but then boggs when i hit the gas and eventully dies. but when on half throttle it seems to be lacking something...? im new to the whole dual carb thing and it kind of seems a little intimidating....haha so if i could get some help and maybe where to start on bring this beast back to life...so far it has an "open air box" no lid with an aftermarket air filter and a pro flow aluminum bracket that it connnects to. a FMF fatty going to a power core. that is all that can be seen with the naked eye...id open up the carbs but they scare me hah not really i just wanna learn a little more about them befor diving into em and messing it up. welp any help is good actully great and if some one could suggest some more parts that are relitivly easy to install and give a good gain in HP...thanks to all
