  1. I am having a similar problem I had quite a few people tell me to sync the carbs and did it myself and thought maybe it was wrong so I took it to yamaha and had them do it but it still didnt fix the problem I can get the left side to push strong if I pull the carb and remove all the little brass things and put them back in even though there was nothing in it it will fire fine untill you shut it off and try riding it the next day it just will not push untill you take the left carb off and remove everthing and put it back together
  2. if it was my pick up it would do it all the time right???? or would change cylinders when I swopped wires??? I really just dont understand much about electronics but I do know it sparks like hell if you lay the plugs on the eng and kick it both sides that is

I have recently melted a hole in my left piston and rebuilt it, but I can only get the left side to "push" steady only if I rip the carb off and clean eveything even though there is nothing in it. PUt it back together runs fine shut it off left side only "pushes" here and there but runs fine in upper rpms check pluggs both are fine. I have been reading different siscusions and have checked everything choke tube is on tight pipes and not cracked silencers are not wet has a uni K&N filter which was just cleaned and charged mixing gas the same 50:1 changed wires around even turned stator plate back to stock was running 4 please help I am about tired of tearing my carb off every time I go riding ::
