  1. I just paid $250 to have mine sand blasted and powder coated. The color was "starlit red" and was considered a specialty color so it cost about $50 more than a regular color. I used paint stripper to remove most of the factory coating to cut down on cost of prep work on the frame. http://armstrongpowdercoating.com Hope this helps.
  2. Part # 283798-001 from bikebandit.com $14.88 each ...
  3. bikebandit.com rivamotorsports.com I know they both have them. Kind of expensive but they have them. Hope this helps.
  4. Looking for a stock stator in good condition shipped to 42718. Let me know what you got and how much you want. Thanks, ahcgt
  5. Sorry I was thinking of a compression tester.
  6. Either of those sites should have about every bolt/nut/bearing/gasket. I'm doing a frame up restore too and just got a complete bolt kit from alloyboltz.com. Pretty good stuff. Check that out too.
  7. Yup I just tightened mine by hand too. I think they all look about the same so they must be half way right. HAHA. Thanks for the pic too Firehead.
  8. I got mine from a parts supply store like advanced auto, car quest, oreilly's. I think it was around $40. For no more than I use it, it has always worked fine.
  9. Either bikebandit.com or rivamotorsports.com will have what your looking for. I tend to go with bikebandit.com because shipping is usually much quicker. They have a pretty good oem parts finder that gives a picture and name of everything you should be looking for. Hope this helps.
  10. Huskyohilux thanks for all your help. This is what I've got after putting the dura blue in. I think its right but I haven't lock tighted anything togethor just yet ... seems to look right. Without any instructions its about the best I can figure out.
  11. If you could get me a pic of the brake hub that'd be awesome .. thanks a lot
  12. Getting ready to install my dura blue axle. Just curious if anyone had any pictures of theirs installed since it came with basically no instructions. If I could look at a picture I think it would help out quite a bit. Anyone?
  13. Looking for stock reed cages with or without reeds for 2000 Banshee. Send me a PM and let me know how much you want. Thanks
  14. I agree. Looks pretty sweet. Now I gotta find a place online that sells them .... hmm..
  15. FINALLY got it off!! I let it soak in WD-40 for a few hours and using a block of wood and hammer. It moved millimeter by millimeter but finally came off. Not sure why its so tight but maybe its a good thing because I really won't have to worry about it working loose while riding. Thanks for everybody's help. :woot:
  16. Well that sucks. Wonder how the new alien setup is?
  17. Where is the best place to buy dmc exhaust and 2 into 1 carb setups? Can't find a DMC dealer in Ky so I'm going to have to order online. I was thinking about buyng my 2 into 1 carb setup from trinity but I read a thread on here that said about trinity ... So where do I go to order these ???
  18. Yes I removed the clip retainer. But it won't slide right off. I guess its just a tight fit with it and the splines. The mallet wouldn't do any justice so I'm going to try a piece of wood and hammer. Hopefully I won't tear anything up. I wonder if I should contact RMATV about it or what. It shouldn't be on there this tight I wouldn't think and its brand new.
  19. Alright. Thanks for your help.
  20. Did you have to use a wooden block and a hammer or anything? Mine seems like it is on very tight. I tried with a mallet and couldnt' get it to budge. Is it normal for it to be this tight right out of the box? I just wanted to make sure it slides off before I start beating it to death. haha
  21. Does this piece come off the axle? If not then how the heck do I install this thing, because the splines on one side are too big to go through the bearings .. and this wont either ?? Confused ... I have an twin row round carrier .. any help ?
  22. I sent you some emails via ebay about the shocks ... let me know. Thanks
  23. Yes its a very well built and good looking swingarm. I just need to find out about the chain guides and stuff. Which ones will work.
