I have always met people here that are werry helpfull, and serching the forum is werry helpfull here on HQ. I live in Norway and there is no one selling the stuff you have in US here. I`m 38 years old run two companys have 4 kids, the banshee is my son`s and mine hobby. Fundings is not a isue, dont understand why you are giving me a hard time on this!

Thanks again on inputs! werry helpfull! What would be the diference betven the two, CPI or Shearers? I`m interessted in a good low to mid push, know the valves do that job but when they are wide open i gues its high rev pipes that would be great??

Oh.. and one more question, is the cheetah 485 a big bore? should i get big bore pipes? and is it smal flange or big flange? what pipes to run on this? want inframes. so far i`m thinking shearers but think CPI wil be good to... help me decide please!

I wil do those mods to the tranny, TZ bearing is already on the crank. A hinson basket it wil be then. i want a good strong engine when i`m first doing this build. I see there is some moded shift drums/star with bearing on, on Ebay i get me one of thise. Thanks for som good inputs on the tranny, just what i needed :-)

Thank you very mutch for your replys. I gues a better shift star and shift drum wil be put in then, the clutch i have now is a barnet hd so gues i give it a try, easy to mod that later. want to do the right tranny mods when the case is split. pancake already bought. swing arm i wonder how long i can get for my kind of driving? +4" or +6"? better shocks Øhlins. +2 A-arms are the mods I`m getting on the driveline.

After 3 years standing teard down in the garage i finaly going to build the cheetah 485 powervalve engine. but just a quick input from you banshee builders needed: I just wonder what absolutly tranny mods you think i should do when putting this topend kit on? no override tranny. gonna ride trails and other funn driving. no dragging, just funn driving. should i get strait cut gears and lockup? have a barnet clutch in now, will it hold? sorry my bad english i`m from Norway. thanks for your help!!!!

Ok thanks, then it all comes down to pricing, i know what trinity wants for it, waiting for a reply from PSI.. Do anny other make PV sylinders excpt for the T-Rex....?

I asked them for a price on the topend without the FCR carbs and crank, $6000 bye bye. i did like the powervalve setup and it will work on a banshee with no batery, but have to run the stator and ignition they have for it to work. $2500 PV setup only, bye bye. maby it was in AU$.... but no US$. Hello Trinity 2300$ compleet PV topend kit.

I like some out of frame CPI or shearers, one on etch side with silensers, smal bore. I live in Norway so need them shipped heare.

I do more work on my shee then riding. Its a hobby. when i ride its when som local guys coms with there BIG 4 strokers and want to race. its more like a show bike now, nothing like it in Norway. and now i want a realy good running motor that kils the 4 strokers! I do som riding on som realy fast trails,and now i miss the horse power i try gaining from this 421 setup. I dont think after all i read about 421 i will be disipointed :biggrin:

Yea, know wat you talking about, did a clean op port on my jugs with a dremel and the result was great. good filing knowing I did it!!! and enjoyd doing it!!!

I have read so mutch positiv about the CPI and shearers. so i only have to diside. the CPI are easier to get for me. so CPI it is. my build wil be this: 68mm cub, 38mm airstrikers, cpi inframe, 4mil crank + the small stuff i need for the build. see manny riders ride 421 set up and are realy happy with it, hope i will to. What will max HP be with this kind of motor??

Theres no one that can port the stok jugs to match the 4mil here in norway. There is a guy in sweden (www.ebos.com) that can do it but he charge 4500,- for the job so i need to buy cubs, and heard so mutc great about them to :biggrin: What crank should i buy?

Ok. thanks for helping out. I have a +4" swinger already, hope taht wil work. I wil try this setup. What crank to get, hotrod? are the FMF realy that bad for this setup? how mutch HP wil i lose with the FMF? whas hoping not to buy new pipes, but if it is a must i will.
