Well i drove 1 hour 1 way to Longview to the Yamaha place there. They said they had the jets, i pre-paid for them, and when I got there this am, of course they didn't have them but said they could order them. So that was a wasted 2 hours of driving. I went to East Texas Off road where my bike is, and I started working on it, The Moose/DynoJet jetting kit did come in, and it came in with different size jets then what it was suppose to have. it had 270s, 280s, and 340s(F-in great, I wanted 320s). So we tried the 340s, and as expected the 340s was wayyy too much fuel, so we put the 280s in and surprising the bike ran really strong once up on the pipe, low end wayyyy lean(25s all i had 1/4 turn), mid wayyy rich..
I installed the FMF Torque reeds, FMF boost bottle, 280 mains, and DynoJet needle#3 groove, Oiled my new K&N Pods with outer warez. In all it was a productive day, with a disappointing end.
I'm gonna wait till i can get some 27.5 pilots that I ordered to come in to pull the needle and move the needle up a click.
I cut the back of my airbox off to make a quick coolant bracket. It may not be pretty but it works fine.
