Well I did the high speed runs up hill, and desribe what i see on the plugs. I'm thinking either right on or barely lean on mains, and a guess at rich on the pilots.

I have read all the tuning threads and understand most everything written, but I have a question about this off idle bog. If I idle and easy out on the clutch and get rolling fully engaged at idle and then go WOT my bike BOGS for about 1 1/2 to 2seconds and by that time enough speed and rpm has happened and then she wakes up and stands striate up. I have 27.5 pilots and 280 mains middle groove on the Dynojet stage 3 needle. note: I also have this BOG off Idle at neutral sitting still no load. the BOG is much shorter but still present(Pilot too big?). combination is stock carbs with above jetting, FMF Gold series FATTY pipes, FMF Powercore II silencers, FMF Torque reeds, K&N Pods with Outterwares, NO Airbox. 3 degree of timing advance. To get the bike to crank, I have to pull the choke all the way out, as soon as she fires wait 5 seconds and then turn choke all the way off. smokes alot while choke on, engine will stall if choke left on. I just made my runs to do a plug chop and from what I can tell, I have a tannish discoloration on the electrode of the spark plug(BR8ES), and on the center part a slightly tan coloration high on the center plug porcelain(I'm thinking of going 1 jet bigger on the mains). Any insight guys?

You would th8ink it is that easy. But it isn't... I have been to every mortcycle manuftures store in a 50mile raduis... made many call to Yamaha dealerships in Dallas, Texas 100 miles away. no luck.

I wanted to let you know, I did not recieve the jets. I did recieve 3/4 of an open ended paper envelope sealed in a post office"sorry about you letter" bag. The post office bag is still sealed as I received it. I really needed those 320 jets.

Well here is the update, I have 30 Pilots and 310 mains in... with the pilot set at 1/2 turn out, once I get it cranked(shot of carn cleaner), it idles well except popping in the exhaust pipe. The mid-Top end power is unreal I took this as very rich condition on the pilots, so I leaned the pilot to 3 turns out. now she will not idle or stay running. I have to constantly feather the throttle, but there is zero hesitation at 3 out. however mid-and top end have suffered and have nooo power. Any ideas? What causes it to pop erratcially like that... and what causes one to run erratic, like onnn/offf,onnnn,of on offffff, onnnnnn offf on off onnnnn(it does this at 3 turns out.

You could probably rape a motorcycle and get legal. I think a 4-wheeler would be the same as a motorcycle if you add, a horn, side view mirrors, turn signals front/rear, brake lights, clearance markers, and a higher gear ratio to maintain higher speeds for longer periods of time. I don't see why you couldn't do it. :biggrin:

It seems florescent orange would have to be the color. Unless, The flag maker can make one that stands out more then a solid flag. I'll come up with some flag backgrounds later today.

Don't worry about the shape. That can be changed, I'm throwing down designs. The design is what matters, when a design can be agreed upon, then the design can be worked into the correct dimensions and still maintain the spirit of the original design. Don't sweat the small details yet.

Next up, again white background can be changed to any color. I believe as a group one color should be used for all members, Orange may not be the color that works with your bike, but as a fellow member is passing by he or she might recognize a member's flag as their own and come over and introduce themselves. I'm not familiar with these regulations, Explain please. I could design a 2nd flag that would be legal.

Here is my Design, I like the Blue and White because that is Yamaha colors. I also added the word "Member" because it would make a universal design for all members of this forum. Having a personal Member name would increase the cost per flag as the time need to do one flag would be much greater. If you still want your User name on the flag you could carry it to a local airbrush artist usually found in the mall, and have them air brush your user name on.
