I'm with rocket boy. Stock stroke is gonna be easy on rod angle. One thing to do on any bike is let it warm fully and dont just ride off hard on a cold bike. That will make sure the piston is evenly warmed up causing it to not be oval shaped. I've been guilty of that on a bike before cause it wouldnt idle right. Made the piston wear a bunch quickly in the intake side. Also a larger bore size like the 68 will have less stress on the skirts. I'd bet Jeff has a different opinion than the other builder. It's a very reliable fast combo. Jeff helped me a bunch on mine with getting the right domes and squish clearance set up for it etc. If you gotta have a crank do a 4,7 or 10 mil it will beclose to the same cost for the motor.Theres also the super cub now too for the same cost in a 72 mm or larger bore just needs some case boring.

Let me know before you throw away your old stock pipe. I need to buy one for a neighbor kid.

They will run their best just before they burn up. Most people call a "plug chop" just running wide open throttle for 3 secs or so pulling in clutch, killing motor, coasting to a stop and pulling the plugs and looking at color. Grey/tan lean Chocolate brown/beer bottle color Good black or wet is rich.

I was kinda hoping to get a cheaper one or I'd just get an old fmf used on ebay for a few bucks more. I was hoping someone had a old one for $40 or $75 shipped.Rusty is fine doesnt have to be new. I'll keep askin around.

I was just going off the high 300 number they bring on ebay if they are nice and $50 or more to ship. If I'd said $350 and $50 shipping would you have jumped on it? Nice T5 pipes and silencers, good chrome, very minimal blueing if any,no cracked tabs etc. $400 plus the ride, I can ship cheap thru work. Probably around $25. Before a sale I can get real close pics if needed. They are nice. Will trade for CPI or Shearer SB inframes. Radar

Lookin for a set of Cpis or shearers.Inframe smallbore, prefer chrome. I have a good set of chrome T5's I'd trade.I've been told they will work better on my stock stroke cub now that it's ported. Neighborhood friend of my kids needs a stock pipe and silencer for a blaster. I'll probably end up paying for it myself , stock pipe is fine. I was just hoping I could catch somebody before they threw one away. I need it shipped to Kansas City area 66083 or can pickup if close so add whatever needed for shipping. Just need a cheap one. Be sure to check the midrange especially. The toomeys will stuff more back in the cyls at midrange throttle opening since it's a mid/top pipe. The CPIs wont stuff as much back in the midrange rpm. Like dajogejr said plug chop and check top as well as mid.

I need a stock pipe and silencer...basically whole stock exhaust for a blaster if you have an old one. Let me know how much you want and add whatever shipping $10,25 or whatever to box,ship it to Ks 66083.

It will be faster and snappier with stock carbs....go back.

I'm a flatlander but if you're a heavy rider on a heavy bike that will play into what you'll want too. T5's or CPIs.
