There are some Horseshoe drags in Maryville Missouri on sunday if anyone is interested. I went last weekend and there was only one other banshee and a quadzilla in the 2 stroke class! It would be nice to run against another 2smoke!

I need a throttle cable that will work with the tors removed. I you have a good price on a thumb throttle as well, I might be interested in a package deal.

Yes, you have two side by side lanes and a light. You drag down to a cone that is set up 300ft down the track. When you reach the cone you have to turn around it, or slide around it, and then drag back to the starting line. You can not go out of your lane, and you must go around the cone. So its a two way drag, with a 180* corner! Alot of the races that I saw were won based on the riders performance in the corner. Here is a website to the club that put this one on. www.xposedpics.com

I would really like to know what paint works on pipes. I tried using high temp header paint with a good coat of primer first and it still bubbled off! If anyone has any suggestions on what paint to use, Im open to good ideas.

I went to my first horse shoe drags last night. It was awesome. I was just wondering if anyone else races these? Last night was my first event and when I pulled up to the light to stage I gave her a good rev and broke my dam throttle cable. So I have yet to race in one, however there will be one next sunday, the 16th in Maryville MO.

There are some horseshoe races tonight, sat sept 8, in Grant City Missouri. Club 180 sanctioned. Worth county fair grounds races start at 6:30, entry starts at 5:00pm. There should be quite a turn out. Drag race 300ft down side by side, turn around a barrel and drag back!

I got a 1978 yz250 that I will trade for a nice pair of shocks, like works or elkas or something for mx, valved for a 190lb rider. I have +2+1 full flight a arms, so they would have to work with those. The motor is fresh and runs like a raped ape. The rest of it works. I got pics, but I cant figure out how to post them, so send me an email address. I might trade it for other banshee stuff, what do ya got.

I run the +2+1 Full Flights and I love them. I ride tight trails on the way to the moto track. I get along with them great. The only thing to consider about them is trail riding. I pulled up to a stock shee and with the same size tires on the front, I bet mine sat 3" lower. So if you ride on rocky trails I would consider that. I run a stock swinger and jump the crap out of mine daily and I have no issues. Running through the trails gets tight at times, but gas is on the right! :biggrin: I would recomend the Full Flights!

Yep check the intake boots, mine did the same thing. It reved high and wouldnt idle down.

Mine are cut lakers style, and I love them. I ride trails and mx, and get along with them great. The stock fenders block your view of the trail and since my bike has +2+1 A arms, the tires would stick out past the fenders anyway.

I still got em, I will trade them for some paddle tires, so I can go on the LS fall trip!
