  1. Thanks for the reply, Ive tryed a few diffrent settings but I guess i should let it sit a day or so before i count that out. so far I went from one turn out thru two and a half turns out.
  2. I know the clips are good because i changed them from 1ST thru 5th trying all positions, but dont know about them sticking. How can they stick if the slides are moving up and down? And why only on a cold motor?
  3. Ive been working on my buddies banshee and cant figure this problem out. It fires up first or second kick every time, but as soon as you hit the gas it dies out. If you get it running it runs fine and stays that way until you let it sit for a couple days then it does it again. I cleaned the carbs at least 4 or 5 times, checked the pick up on the flywheel and adjusted with a business card, changed the pilots around and found nothing. Its at 320 mains, 27.5 pilots, third clip on needle and two turns out on a/f screw. It has fmf fattys stock carbs w/o torrs, pods on carbs, and a mild port job.any help would be great.

  11. This is a classic 1977 Yamaha RD350 almost show room condition (this bike is seriously nice and was the bike to have in the 70's, Probably not a cleaner one in the state or for sale in the country at this time! The bike is equiped with DG expansion chambers, Boyesen Reeds, Michelin Tires, Gold Handle Bars, Gold Sprocket and Gold Chain. It has about 5500 original miles on it. I am the second owner, I bought it off the original owner 6 years ago with 1700 miles on it. There is nothing wrong with this bike, everything works and works well and i have all the original parts... $2500 OBO... 15. I've been thinking about geting a new setup, but dont know who to trust or who will do the best job. I dont know if I should go with another set of stock cylindrs ported or change them out for something bigger. Here's the thing, I only ride the hills at the dunes and probably only go two to three times a year. Im runing a set of trinity dune ported 68mm jugs on a stock bottom end, 5 degrees advanced, sherrer pipes, 35mm pwk, 19cc domes in a cool head. So my question would be were do I go from here and if it is a set of ported jugs who should do them, and I already asked jeff from fast hes to busy im looking for someone local. Any help is appreciated.
