  4. Sounds like you have it all figured out. Make sure to remove the stock regulator. Probably use a 2.5 or 5 amp fuse with the hids. With the 15 something will burn up long before the fuse blows.

  6. I did some work on this bike which was originally bought from bhq 'r Colby. I dont know the current owner but when my buddy had it, it was a very clean and good running bike.   12. I like to cut the whole glob off and trim as needed. Faster and easier for those not comfortable with soldering. Then lightly sand the coating off the wire and solder your new wire on.
  13. Stock boots will work. Filters should but it might be tight. As for jetting probably start with a 140 main and 40 pilot. I ran the lgn needle i think with t5 pipes. Disconnect the tors box by the coil and throw away. Use a cable for stock carbs WITHOUT tors.

  18. You will hook the regulator up to the yellow wire in the harness. The blue wire would probably work. It connects to the yellow wire. Just the grounds for the lights need to be changed.
  19. The wiring for the kill switch and cdi would need changed.
  20. You will have to either dig the ground wire out of the harness, cut it and run it to the battery or just run a whole new wire. I have my hids connected to the high beam wire. This way the lowbeam only turns on the tail light. High beam turns on everything.

  22. Yes there is 2 wires. Electricity 101, complete circuits. Anyways the wire you add and the existing yellow wire will go to the regulator. The black wire will stay hooked up as stock. Any lights you add must be grounded back to the battery and not the frame.
