  1. would like to know anyone whos ran 1/8 mile track with a banshee and the times, from what i have seen banshees which are still able to ride through trails have ran anywhere from 9-low 7 in the 1/8 mile my bikes best time is currently a 8.7 at 78mph,
  2. alright bro, thanks a million, youve given me the best info, sorrey for asking so many questions its just that if things in this hobby arent done right they can be costly, i am going to try some bigger mains on the bike and for sure do the porting, take it easy
  3. i bought them already its just that you guys keep saying that porting would be better i can easily get my money back for the reeds, now let me ask somthing else timing wise how do the degrees vary from advancing, and what timing advancement would be best for my setup
  4. alright man your help has been greatly appreciated is there anything else you would reccomand me to do cause i already ordered the v-force 3 reeds, i am gonna install them and see if it will make a difference? keep in mind i am still using the jets that came with my previous exhaust fmf
  5. would also like to know about how much an average port job to stock heads will cost
  6. sounds good!!, now let me ask you how much porting should i do, the compression is not to high i run the bike on 93 octane and put benol oil, i asked around and many people told me that when a head is milled only 25 thousands that you hardly wont feel the work, as far as pistons i was told there wiesico pistons do these piston come with different compression ratios, and i run the bike on rocky roads and street pavement
  7. just thought i would ask if it would be a good idea to put v-force 3 reeds on my banshee it is equipped with cpi inframe pipes and it has .30 over weisico pistons, bike has a stock air box with snorkal removed and a uni air filter, bike has stock porting, the only thing that was done to the bike was a mill head job to bring up compression, stock head was milled 25 thousands very little?
  8. why is a 16t sprocket a problem, i ran the bike last weekend in an 1/8 mile track and i beet most of the quads there, but the bike was not running to its potential it couldint launch because it would pop up and if i would get a good launch it would spin all 1 and 2 gear, bike ran a 8.7 at 78 mph best time of the night
  9. just a stock air box with uni air filter and stock lid the only thing i did was remove snorkal, as faar as porting when i bought the bike the man just told me he milled the head 25 thousands for more compression is that alot
  10. I NORMALLY RIDE TRAILS WITH ROCKS AND DIRT, BIKE HAS STOCK TIRES AND RIMS AND FROM WHAT I KNO THE BIKE HAS A 16T SPROCKIT IN THE FRONT, I THINK IAM JUST GONNA SEND BIKE TO A SHOP AND HAVE THEM DO THE RIGHT JETTING AND INSTALL THE REEDS SO THAT THE BIKE IS ON POINT WITH EVERYTHING, I AM ALSO GONNA TELL THEM TO ADVANCE THE TIMING, DO YOU HAVE AN IDEA ON HOW MUCH THIS WOULD COST TO DO
  11. BOUGHT 2002 BANSHEE, PREVIOUS OWNER SAID HE HAD GOTTEN WORK DONE AS FOLLOWS. .30 OVER WIESICO PISTONS, HE ALSO TOLD ME HE MILLED THE STOCK HEAD 20 -25 THOUSANDS, BIKE ALSO HAS CPI INFRAME PIPES WITH STOCK CARBS, BIKE ORIGINALLY CAME TO ME WITH FMF SST PIPES AND THE CARBS CAME JETTED FOR THOSE PIPES, I THEN PURCHASED THE CPIS AND THROUGH THEM ON (LEFT JETTING THE WAY IT WAS) BIKE RAN GREAT WITH CPIS BUT IS NOT DOING GOOD ON TOP END NEED SOMEONE TO HELP ME OUT WITH JETTING? I ALSO JUST ORDERED V-FORCE REEDS AND IAM THINKING ABOUT ADVANCING THE TIMMING ON THE MOTOR, CAN SOMEONE PLEASE GUIDE ME ON HOW TO JET THE BIKE IF IAM PUTTING V FORCE REEDS AND ADVANCING THE TIMING, DONT KNO WAT SIZE JUST TO BUYS THX YOU ALL FOR YOUR TIME, PLEASE LET ME KNO OF ANYTHING THAT CAN HELP ME
  12. bike runs great with the cpi pipes installed its just that i dont kno wat jetting to use with the cpis since they didint come with jets, my fmfs came with jets you kno wat i mean, so i would need to up the mains 1-3 sizes with the reeds installed right? the bike now is running with the cpis installed and with the jetting that came with fmfs its pulls hard all the way to 6th gear but then just revs and doesnt pull no more, this is why i am purchasing reeds and i probaliy want to advanced the timing, what would you reccomend me to do
  13. set up is as follows, i have an airbox with uni airfilter, stock lid with snorkal removed, now the bike ran great with the fmfs but since i now purchased a pair of cpi inframe pipes for $200 i thought damn thats a steal so i got them and the bike runs fine with the fmf jetting but is not doing so well on top end, so i now decided to buy v-force reeds and add them on. many people tell me that by adding the reeds i will need to re jet the bike, any suggestions remember i live in miami so its low elevation
